Does loosing your weight = loosing your sparkle??

    Not for me

Just an observation i have made....in a few people now...but the most recent one was a women up my childrens school....

she was a lovely bubbly person...always chatting/laughing/gossiping etc

anyways....she wasnt fat (cus i hate that word!!!)...but curvy ...i would say around a size 18/20

over the last year she has done sooooooooo well with her weight loss...she is now down to around a size 10...looks amazing!!! BUT ...for the past year i dont think i have seen her SMILE ...its almost as if she has gone into herself ...she dont laugh and mess around, and has no time to stop and chat

    anyone else found this??

At the moment is basically does for me, Sad I know! i Shouldnt make it my life, but its so important to me to be a Slimmer figure. I just go to such a fat stage, that i was the "real me" if that makes sense. i Was someone pretending to be happy and out going.
So then i decided it was enough!
So my mates always moan at me cause im to busy excerising to bum around with them alot, but half of my mates understand and are like Thats So good, When the other half are like your so boring! Its hard, but sometimes u gota give up things to make yourself happy.

I've actually noticed that as the weight drops off I'm becoming more like the old me, I'm more outgoing and more confident. And as far as I'm concerned thats a good thing, cos when I was heavier I got to the point where I'd find excuses to avoid going out with my friends.

I definitely get my sparkle back the slimmer I get. I am like a completely different person being this big. I'm grumpy, introvert, never want to go out or see people....when i'm skinny I want to do everything all at once, I make loads of friends, party, laugh...that's the real me!

I have a surpressed sparkle lol its hidden underneath my insecurity which seems to grow the fatter I become. When I lost weight before it came out in abundance. Funny thing is I still had a wee bit inside me that still thought I was fat and when I could fit into things or once a guy actually told me I was gorgeous( for the first time in my life!!!), I found it hard to believe. Anyway I digress.

I think it depends on a few things - the lady at the school could have other things on her mind that are making her less cheerful, or if she's on a regime that means she's hungry and tired that could well be the reason. I have dieted to extremes in the past and was definitely Not Fun. I might have looked good but I was miserable! Life is too short to count calories or exercise obsessively, IMO. Changing to a healthy lifestyle should make you feel better, not worse

I get accused of being boring by my other half because I don't get drunk on a Friday or Saturday any more! Tough, I'm doing this for me.

This is my 4th attempt to get to target with SW!
