| GI Diet Support Forum The GI diet explained how to manage blood sugars levels to help weight loss and encourage long-term good health. The GL (glycaemic load) is an exciting new extension of these principles and measures more accurately the carbohydrate load of food. This means that foods that had previously been considered high GI, e.g. melon, can now be introduced into your diet, as the amount of carbs you would eat in a portion, rather than in a whole melon, is calculated. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 3 ![]() Diet: lighter life. In the past have tried everything from weightwatchers to rosemary conley | Just bought a fab book from the cheap' book store' in town. It is an anthony worrall thompson low GL book with great recipes and it gives nutritional info aswell. It tells you roughly how many cals you should be eating a day and the bonus was that it was only £4. Was looking at the Rik Gallop ones in waterstones and they have great recipes in but don't tell you about the nutritional content. Anyway have a great weekend. Vicky x |
