Hello from Germany. xx

Hi everyone,

I am in Germany working for the British forces. I am 37, married with two devils (lol). Until a year ago i was a Slimming World consultant but due to other commitments i gave it up. Giving up SW as a consultant also meant giving up on eating healthy and over the past few months i have been trying to lose the weight i gained. Little did i know that SW was actually making me feel awful and gain weight cos as i have recently found out i have a wheat intolerence and having bread, cereal, pasta etc was not helping.

Yesterday i plucked up the courage to get the scales (i have been avoiding them - i knew what they would say cos i don't fit into my lovely clothes), i was shocked to say the least. I was searching the internet for a post xmas diet when i came upon this diet. I am impressed with everything i have read so far on the website and to know that it will help with the intolerence is a bonus.

I have ordered the book form Amazon and have started clearing out the cupboards - all ready to start on the 02 Jan 13. The only thing i am worried about is my cups of tea, i live on tea!!! Today i have started to drink herbal ready for when i start the diet and hopefully i will get used to it.

So, here is to a healthier body in 2013 - Happy New year Everyone. xx :)

Happy new year ladies! I don't know much about this diet. How was your first day?

My first day was good. I have a slight headache brewing as this is the second day with no caffeine or cr@p food! I had porridge for breakfast, chicken and salad from the harvester for lunch and steak with roasted veg and broccoli for tea. Was all lovely only thing I missed was the dressing on the salad. Am having a few cravings, general urges to eat rubbish as opposed to anything in particular tho. Bar a nice cold can of Pepsi max, I have been craving that. Bring on day two!!

Are you on it too? X

Well done for sticking with it. I've just been reading an article about it and it sounds just what I've been looking for. I think I'll have to buy the book though to find out all the rules. x

There aren't really many rules bar what you've probably already read but the book is worth reading for the full understanding x

Hey did you look it up? Decide to start? X

I'm going to start tomorrow. Need to go shopping first. It's going to be difficult because my other half doesn't want to give up sugar. :-/ x
