Hi all. I've decided this year is all about taking the pressure off. I've spent the last 6 years losing and gaining weight, and going to extremes of bingeing and extreme diets!
I decided this year I just want to eat healthier, avoid take away and junk most of the time and exercise much more often!

So far since January 1st I've lost 35lbs this way and loving it. Been cooking so much more and feel my kids are eating alot better for it too :)

Today I had

Breakfast - porrige with semi skim milk, water, honey and blueberries

Snack - almonds, dried cranberries and cashews

Lunch - small bowl pasta with homemade arrabiata sauce

Snack - 12 olives with feta

Dinner - homemade slow cooked lemon jus chicken breast with roasted sweet potato

Yummy :-D

Did a curves workout and day 1 of 30 day squat challenge, sore thighs tomorrow!!!

Wow 35lbs is great, well done :) x

Forgot about this thread for a bit!! Best update! Still going with the healthy eating and have now lost about 3.5st :D was 19st 11lb to start and am now around 16st 5 :D
Started a bit more exercise too and just did race for life, which I jogged most of and completed in 36 mins :D

Signing up to the 10k in October to give me another run to aim for and reason to keep training!

Xxx
