    healthy eating journey

Hi all. I've decided this year is all about taking the pressure off. I've spent the last 6 years losing and gaining weight, and going to extremes of bingeing and extreme diets!
I decided this year I just want to eat healthier, avoid take away and junk most of the time and exercise much more often!

So far since January 1st I've lost 35lbs this way and loving it. Been cooking so much more and feel my kids are eating alot better for it too :-)

    Today I had

Breakfast - porrige with semi skim milk, water, honey and blueberries

Snack - almonds, dried cranberries and cashews

Lunch - small bowl pasta with homemade arrabiata sauce

Snack - 12 olives with feta

Dinner - homemade slow cooked lemon jus chicken breast with roasted sweet potato

    Yummy :-D

Did a curves workout and day 1 of 30 day squat challenge, sore thighs tomorrow!!!

That was a good time. I done it a couple of years ago and ran and jogged all 5k and done it in 34 mins.
Been maintaining under 9 stone on a Primal diet since Oct 2012.
Commitment and hard work gets you there.
You can 'diet' and still have a life if you really, really want to.

Your weight is not going up for no reason. It's going up because you consume more than you burn.
