Eating clean in 2015!

Now that Christmas is over and I've (massively) overindulged, it's time to get back on the wagon and get to target as I'm starting 2015 at the same weight as 2014.

I follow Slimming World from home but want to make a conscious effort to eat clean. In 2012 I went from around 14 stone and a size 18 to 10.7 and a size 12 by eating clean, so I know it works for me - especially as it's pretty much kept off.

I do have a diary in the silver section which I will carry on using, but I realised that there isn't much support for clean eating on minis so I thought I'd start a little diary that might help others.

Today I am 11.1.5 and my goal is to fit into a size 8 wedding dress (I want to start dress shopping in the summer) and have a smoking hot body on honeymoon (May 2016)!

Wish me luck :)

L - I'm meeting family today for a birthday treat so I'm not sure what I'll have, but possibly a salad

D - homemade guilt free curry feast of lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka massala, bombay potatoes and saag paneer. I'll post some pics later - it's my favourite fakeaway!

Happy new year everyone, hope you all have a great one :)

Hello here to follow how are you doing ? X

So today I have started whole 30 in the hope it will give me the boost I need to get back on the straight and narrow! The big thing for me is giving up the wheat as I'm sure it affects my psoriasis, so I'll be super interested to see how it affects my body :)

I'm going to keep track of what I eat and how I feel here so I can come back to it and review how the different foods make me feel.

Each of my meals on whole 30 should be made up of protein, fat and veg.

Day one

B - scrambled egg and tuna (p) shallots and spinach (v) cooked in coconut oil and chilli flakes

L - tuna (p) with homemade mayo (f) jacket potato and a salad (v)

Wow! Looks good :) I would love to do the whole 30 but I've got to be more organised about food!

Well done and looking forward to seeing the next 28 days!

Thanks :D I am having to be organised with it, I try to make breakfasts and lunch in bulk though to save time which is why I often have the same thing for several days. It also helps to know what's coming up next so I don't get too hangry!!!

Couldn't post good yesterday - there was a phone amnesty in my house for v day!

Day 6

B - fritters and egg muffins again with mayo

PWO - egg muffin (p&v)

PWO - pickled egg (p) and a couple of cashews (f)

L - sausage and egg (p) with green pepper, potato, mushroom, red onion and spinach (v) cooked in coconut oil

I saw had a couple of glasses of wine which means technically today is day one again but sod that! It's not about it being a full on 30 day challenge for me, it's about me re-educating myself on real food so I'm just going to carry on.
