Hi all! I've basically been switching from lowcarb to calorie counting the last few weeks (trying to find a quick fix!) but I find if I go over my carbs or calories then I just say to hell with it and binge!
In the last 4months I've put on 1st 1/2!!
I'm now 142.2lbs (was 123lbs in june!)
So I've decided to just try eat healthy and sensibly and hopefully lose weight that way! I threw my scales out this morning (to stop weighing myself daily) and I'm not going to buy a new one till after Christmas. Hopefully I'll have lost weight by then.
Plan for today is
Breakfast: 30g porridge with teasp peanut butter
Lunch: pitta bread with light mayo, ham, salad and fruit (pineapple, kiwi and grapes)
Dinner: prawn curry made with light coconut milk, peas, sweetcorn and rice. And then 1/2 a melon for dessert.
Snacks: crispbreads, ham and sweet pepper relish. And a soya yoghurt.
How does that look like to you guys?
X

Hi Hutchie! Well, I definitely agree that healthy eating, with everything in moderation is the way to go. I spent three years trying to lose ANY weight with dukan, paleo, calorie counting etc. Would lose two and gain the same two over and over. In the last 3 months I've lost a stone without any calorie counting or cutting foodgroups out of my diet! You can do it! It's all about portion sizes and better decisions. Eugh so cliche and boring, but true. Good luck!

hey, how is it going for you? xxx

oh yes thats true i had the worst week ever last week missed breakfast off way through the week and thats it bombs away lolol

Hi im exactly the same, mess up the diet then binge so much I put weight on! Im not calorie counting as of this week just eating healthily and exercising every day. I get married in august so hoping to lose a bit by then but im fed up of being miserable on diets!
