Hey,

Heard so many good things about Herbalife so decided to start up.

I am waiting on my Herbalife goodies coming hopefully they will be here tomorrow so I can get started properly.

I have a tub of vanilla which I am having my 2 shakes a day.

I started yesterday then at night it turned into a binge fest I just need to control my eating, If I dont do this now I can see me just continuing to get bigger & bigger.

Anywayyyyyyyyyyy rambling on there.

Start Weight - 14st 3lbs
Goal Weight - 10st 7lbs

When I get there I might see about dropping down to 10st 3lbs but will see how I feel first.

I would LOVE to be able to acheive this by March 2014 which is my next birthday so here I go!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so update.

Day 1

Breakfast - Herbalife F1 Vanilla with 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk
Lunch - Herbalife F1 Vanilla with 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk
Dinner - Batchelors Savoury Rice Curry, Mushrooms, Peas
Snacks - 2 Apples, 2 Kiwis, Alpen Light Vanilla
Drinks - Water, Black Coffee with 2 Sweeteners, Can Coke Zero

So that went well.

I spoke to a girl in work today who is doing herbalife but she said that you MUST add the protein powder to every shake.

Anyone any ideas cos I am pretty clueless still new to all of this.

Don't come on here much but jst having a wee look at ur diary! Have u got a herbalife wellness coach? U should really try & stay away with artificial sugars such as in ur diet coke zero try replacing this with plain water? & also have more protein with ur main meal apart from that looks like ur doing really well :) well done!

Adding protein 2 ur shake is optional although it will keep u fuller for longer & also help u hit ur recommend protein intake for the day!

I will defo try to add more protein into my main meal.

I am just so poor with buying all the products I am eating from the cupboards & due to a spell on Slimming World I have plenty of savoury rice to use up.

I dont have a wellness coach just goin it on my own right now but think I will need to get one soon.

Hi,

I use to add the protein to my shakes (sometimes fruit) and I didn't have any weight loss. Now I only add it if I am going to do some real hard aerobic exercise or play sports.
I make my shake with just herbalife F1 and unsweetened almond milk.
I know what you mean by binge fest!! I struggle with it every night, but I must say herbalife makes it easier to not snack all the time (which was my major problem). Slow and steady progress! You can't stop bad habits overnight so don't quit.

One day at a time!!!
 
Mmm almond milk sounds lovely I might get some of that.

Yeah thats it this weight didnt go on in a day or a week so it is going to take longer than that to come off.

One day at a time is defo the way to go.

I thought of a goal that I would love to acheive by December.

I want to go & enjoy the Christmas Markets with the Hubby & I have a gorgeous purple coat that I have not been able to fit into for the last 2 winter so this will be the year I will finally be able to wear it!!!

A few lbs & inches to lose & that will be that!!

Might even post a pic of me in it if I am brave enough.

My herbalife delivery is here!!!!

Got myself 2 shakers, cookies & crea, cappucino, fibre & herb, multivitamins & peach tea.

The peach tea is a bit strange I will admit but I am used to drinking coffee so will take a bit of getting used to.

Looking forward to switching up the shakes a wee bit cos just been having vanillla & can easily see me getting bored with that.

Will maybe mix the vanilla with the cappucino tomorrow.

Hey, you sound like you're doing well, I think it's fair to say you can expect some decent results on the first week, i got 9lbs off so I hope you see a decent chaqnge which will motivate you even more! Carbs are the enemy, so if you are struggling to lose it next week or anything try eating less fruit and only having carbs every other day :) I'm on 4th week now and have had cookies and cream and toffee apple&cinnamon flavour shakes. The toffee apple & cinnamon is yummy! It tastes like apple crumble and totally satisfies your sweet tooth! I spend £40 every 2 weeks, I but one tub of shake and 1 pack of chocolate protein bars and have still lost, so you don't have to spend a fortune.

I am alright in the day its at night I struggle.

I have been WI every day since Saturday & have not budged on the scales - sooooooooo annoying!!!

I have been eating quite late though due to work so today I am having lunch in work then shake for evening meal - will hopefully help.

I haven't been feeling hungry at all but I have been drinking the tea & black coffee in between shakes so maybe that is helping me.

I have 48lbs to go - we can do it!!

I used to skip breakfast - sometimes I would just have a coffee & was always ready for any biscuits or cakes that were on offer mid morning. Since starting herbalife I'm having a shake for breakfast, I've started this week having a mug of lemon flavour herbalife tea as well. Then I have one of my snacks mid morning (choice of fruit, nuts, herbalife protein bar etc) and then a shake or herbalife soup for lunch, and another snack mid afternoon. I can honestly say I'm not tempted to snack on those cakes any more as I'm not feeling the need. I haven't lost weight dramatically but slowly and steadily have lost over one stone in four and a half months - & people have noticed that I look slimmer, & I certainly feel more energetic and able to exercise or walk for longer.

I just cant wait to get the first stone off.

I have been weighing everyday which is really not good for me.

I love herbalife so far so good its iust been a week yesterday I have been doin it & I am down 4lbs so well chuffed with that.

I haven't been eating lots of meat either.

I have been eating eggs to get my protein.

We really need to get our heads together & get some good recipes together.

Sounds like a plan to me Dolly! I really wanna do this but its hard as what to take to work to snack on with protein xx

See I was looking at high protein recipes & the things I would probably eat would be chickpeas, chicken, tuna, omelettes.

I love sweetcorn & peas but they are quite starchy veg so I think I am going to have to cut them out & start eating carrots, broccoli & stuff like that.

Its just trying to think what would fill me up if I cant have rice, bread, pasta & potatoes - that has been the staple of my diet for years haha
