I doubt ill find anyone who is into this but being brought up and spending childhood summers working with the farm animals, taking in orphan lambs I grew a huge attachment and dream of one day having my own farm
I recently started renting some land and bought myself 5 rare breed sheep which has helped me with my weight loss, I don't have a car so seeing them twice a day religiously is always on foot and refilling their water means walking through 3 fields with 3 gallons of water back and fourth

Any other country bumpkins here with agricultural hobbies ??

That sounds fun but surely you get attached to them? How do you deal with slaughter time?

errr not as far as the farm animals goes but we have horses at my mums and land in total at mums we have 10 horses we live in a very rural area where there are a fair few farms and I enjoy going hunting on my horse with the local hunt
