Nothing to be ashamed of; you're not the only one!

I have been doing great for 6 months but the last week has set me back seriously.

I'm taking some time now to make some entries in my journal -- lessons learned about this holiday time, so I won't repeat these mistakes next year. Number one mistake: baking cookies for gifts. My defenses were overwhelmed by the presence of all those cookies and baking ingredients in the house. Next year - no cookie baking, period!

I fell off the wagon , so to speak, but I'm feeling better today as I get back on it.

By the way -- hi, neighbor. I'm in Bucks County, PA.

Re: baking cookies for gifts. Making gifts (hehe accidentally typed 'gits') is fun, but they don't have to be food. You can make candles, soaps, homemade paper...there's many craft forums and instructions for various things online. People still love hand-made items that you've put thought and time into.

Re: holiday pics. I've been there too. I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures from my next holiday where I'm looking slimmer, happier and healthier Now that will be lovely!

I also think when you're going on holiday somewhere sunny, it's nicer to have more photos taken towards the *end* of the holiday, once you've got a nicer tan
