I'm so excited! Something else to motivate my weight loss! I made sure they had a pool. Which of course they have and they also have fitness things going on, so I have no excuses for putting on. it's my first holiday without my parents, and the first that hasn't been Disneyland or centre parcs. It's me and manfriend 7 nights all inclusive! Eeek

Were not party animals and wanted somewhere quiet and the resort were going in peurto Santiago looks fab. It's near a Volcano!

Have an amazing time! Tenerife is the only canary island I haven't been to so would love to visit one day. I have loved all the others!

I love tenerife ! Rightly or wrongly we go every year. Been as a single a couple and as as family. Also going in August went last august and was so hot it was lovely want a few stone down this year tho x where are you staying

Oh, wow! When in August are you going? I am also going to Peurto Santiago, Tenerife, with my boyfriend this year. It's out first holiday together and also the first time either of us have been to Tenerife. We're going on 5th Septmber for 7 nights all inclusive xx

I've just got back from Tenerife for 10 nights. We stayed in the Sunwing Fanabe which was excellent.

The volcano is Mt. Teidi - it is fantastic up there!!

We went on 2 occcassions, once on hired quadbikes and another on a "Teidi by night" trip to see the stars (also very romantic!). Its one of the top places in the world to see the milky way and definitely worth the money (40 euros or so each).

Dont miss out on an opportunity to go whale or dolphin spotting either - truly awesome!!

On the other hand - food is dirt cheap, Beer is a Euro and Cigarettes are 2 Euros something for a packet! Haha.
