Thread: Blackpool - birthday or anniversary?

Heya,

I really want my boyfriend & I to go to Blackpool sometime before the year ends. He's never been before but I went quite a few times when I was younger & love the place.

I was thinking of either going for my birthday in October or for our 1 year anniversary in November. Do you think there's much difference in things happening/weather/prices between those two months?

Any reviews/accommodation advice etc welcome. I haven't had a holiday in 16 months and he hasn't been anywhere for over 2 years!

The lights will be on in October, and the pleasure beach open all day, in November it starts to close down and the lights finish around the 5th.

Cheaper in November but I reckon you need to see the lights x

everything starts to wind down at end of october so i would try and go at start of october it's a nice time of year to go me and my boyfriend go there twice a year and love the lights. There's nothing on in november so it would be a very quiet weekend
