Just joined WW to do the Pro Point Plan.

I need some help regarding exercise with my dodgy knee, and also help with the points system of WW.

Been retired for over a year now, was healthy & fit until just before Christmas when my knee got just too painful to even walk at times.
I'd love to get chatting to people who have the same thing and have learnt how to cope :wave_cry:

My partner has mobility issues .... Does lots at the gym that involves the upper body and of course swimming is great for those with joint problems :) x

Hi Dalton, I am almost 60 and had bad knees but since losing some weight, they have greatly improved. I am sure you will find the same. Good luck.

Hi Dalton, I am so sorry to hear about your painful knees, what a shame just as you are entering the stage of life where you can lead a life of leisure for a change!?!

I have a bad back and whilst there is nothing much that can be done for that other than losing weight which is helping somewhat, unfortunately they don't do back replacements!!..lol! Just a thought as at least you can go down that road if things get too bad for you. My sister has just had a hip replacement done and is going great guns now.

As for the exercise bit, I'm sure there will be lots of Minies who can help in that respect.

Wishing you all the very best for the future.

Hi and welcome. As you lose some pounds you might find your pains are not so bad. Have you asked at the doctors?

Good grief ! This post was 3 years ago !
and.. nothing has changed. I'm still overweight, still got a dodgy knee . When will I ever learn to just eat like normal people
Inbetween this post and that last post I have lost quite a few family and friends to cancer. Had cancer myself..you would think all that would give me a wake-up call wouldn't you..nope. Not me. I just carry on stuffing my face

Welcome back Dalton you have been through a lot in the last few years:hug99:...life can be very tough at times and we all do what we can to get through those tough times...you are here now and if you feel your head is in the right place for dieting then go for it by taking it one day at a time towards a slimmer you and less pain in the knee.
