CD Starting TODAY!

Hi everyone! Starting my CD today (15/09/2012) at 170cm and 95kg :( So sorry , I am not good in stones and inches . Tried my 1st porridge this morning - YUK YUK YUK ! What else can I say ? hahah !!! Soup was good and i can't wait for my 1st "dinner" shake . My goal is to lose 30kg till February before I go for holidays skiing and hot-tubing Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :D

WE GONNA DO IT GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Good luck!! I've just started CD too, day 4 just completed. I'm on porridge in the morning too & have started to get used to it, prefer the apple & cinnamon one! :)
 
@Picklefifi Good one! How far are you from your goal and are u on 3 sachets a day ? Tried oriental chilli soup for breakdfast - Amazing!
 
Hi there, day 5 for me. Didnt get on with the porridges, especially maple and pecan but the soups and shakes are delicious. Looking forward to my oriental chilli soup later, hope you're all getting on okay :) x

Hii! Well done making it to day 5!! Im on day 4 and i don't know about you but it's been a struggle!! Especially the shopping trip to Tesco this morning seeing all the foods!! Good luck and hope you reach your goals.

It's certainly not easy, especially when cooking for others. But i have that size 12 pair of jeans hanging up and it's spurring me on. I've been telling myself that it's not like I'll never eat my favourite food again, i just have to wait a bit. And hopefully when I get there, I wont need quite so much of it to fill me up!

I hear it gets easier after the first week, hang in there :) x
 
Hi Guys :) I am on my day 4, all is going well only one thing that surprises me - since I started CD My eyes have this glazed/glassy look. Is it something to be worried about? Has any of you experienced that ?

Sorry unhappy96, just seen this! I'm on 3 sachets a day & now step2 so a meal aswell. Just had my weigh in: Lost 3lb, 1.5 inches off waist, 1 inch off hips & 1.5 inches off bust. Having a mainly shake week next week as think I overdid the porridge & soup! They do say variety is the spice of life!!

I had my first maple and pecan porridge yesterday! I have to say it was really nasty :( tried it again with a little less water, slight improvement but I am probably going to end up having soup for breakfast - not very conventional but hey ho whatever works :) Hope you 'enjoyed' your dinner shake a bit more lol. I love your goal of skiing and hot tub. Sounds fab

I swap all the porridge's for shakes to have for my breakfast some of them are sooo delicious :) :) Today is the day 6 and my first weigh in ! So far so good, haven't cheated and not thinking to do so. I also realized how much money I save !!! I spend £42 p/w on CD and a bottle of water a day - so I decided to put money away for my shopping once I lose most of my weight! p.s- I still have those glazed eyes since I started CD and they are not going away :D
 
Hope everyone's doing okay. Had my first weigh-in on Tuesday and 7lb off in my first week. Not as much as some but I'm pretty chuffed, just need to keep going! Have ditched the porridges now, not for me. Still feeling hungry from time to time and spacing out every now and then but it's definitely easier than the first few days were :)

Congratulations on your 7lb loss I think that is fantastic! If I lose half that much one my first WI on Monday I will be really pleased. The porridge is not for me either, had the third one today and just about finished it!
 
Thanks, hun. Finding week 2 a lot easier as i've chosen only flavours that i like and I'm getting used to the lack of chewing! Good luck for your first weigh-in :)
 
It's encouraging to hear that it gets easier... I Like your goal of size 12 jeans, mine is that i have a wedding dress to get into by December, so there is no going back now! Have you been on the CD before? Its the first time I have tried it - but being short on time i thought it is my best bet. The one thing I find the hardest is seeing food everywhere :eat:
 
Congratulations! What a lovely Christmas present :) I havent done CD before but it seems to suit me. I need strict rules otherwise give me an inch and i'll take a mile. Diets like slimming world (although great to start with) didnt shrink my appetite so when I was bad I was really bad and the weight just crept back on again. I actually work with my CDC so she can keep an eye on me during the day!! I've got loads of energy and apparently all the vitamins etc in the shakes make your skin healthy. Hoping this motivation lasts.... hope it's going well for you.

P.s. am finding the vegetable water flavouring a lifesaver. Sounded disgusting but tastes great i think, like another soup.
 
Hello my lovelies :) Have had my 1st weigh in after 6days and lost 7lb - whoo hoo! having my next after 10 days only. So far so good. It is lovely to read your posts and seeing everyone trying to cope with that terrible obstacle - foood :D p.s- I miss cheescake like hell :(

I have a naughty, naughty question to ask you guys (please don't think I am a nutter :D ) My sister's are coming over on friday and we r doing some muffin baking - space muffin I meant (u know what i mean hihi) and I was thinking to spare my chocolate shake and make a "space muffin" out of it too. Do you think- would it damage my ketosis? As far as I know weed only speeds up your metabolism. I don't usually do this- as I don't smoke I only enjoy a nice cocktail but I won't be doing any alco or food cheating , so I wondered would "space muffin" from CD chocolate shake would damage anything. Ough please guys.... I just wanna have some fun :wave_cry:

Hey, Hey Everyone!!!!!!! How is it going? Today is 1 month exactly since I started CD! In last 3 weeks have lost 8kg, don't know how much lost in last week as my weigh in is today after work! So excited , haven't done any cheating whatsoever, its been tough and sometimes had to really remind myself my goals to make sure I don't slip .... :( Let me know what is your progress guys :) Kisses xxxx

OMG, OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I had my weigh in yesterday - another 2kg down - so it is 10kg in total in 4 weeks - whooohoooo :) :) Soo happy, starting my 5th week today :)

Space muffin - weeeellll its a bit naughty but at the end I didnt make it (those are ones u get in Amsterdam with a bit of hash in them hihi)
