    Hi :) newbie on slimming world!

    Hey everyone

    As of Sunday I decided to start following slimming world diet. I'm going it alone at home as I'm a student and really don't want to part with the cash to go to the meetings if I'm honest! I did do SW 6 yrs ago when I was 15 with my mum - though I followed it very loosely - and I lost over 1 stone, hoping to lose 3 this time!

    Back in may I weighed 14st 5lbs, the heaviest I've ever been and I felt disgusting! I currently weigh around 13st, lost weight by hopping from Atkins, low carb and then a very low calorie diet. Felt awful on all of these!

    Hoping I can get the support I need to stick to it on here, as I usually give up pretty quickly.

    Hi Louise, Welcome to the forum. Isn't it just awful when you've managed to lose the weight and then put it back on?! But never mind... at least you've found this very helpful and encouraging forum. We are all here to spur you on to great things!
    At 5'7" and 13st you won't have too much to lose and I'm sure it'll be dropping off in no time at all.
    Get a diary up and running in the appropriate section and there will soon be other SW peeps coming to your aid.
