I found this site after googling slim fast and I've had a good read over the last 5 days and feel ready to introduce myself and post
I started slim fast 6 days ago (well actually the Tesco version!) and am feeling quite positive about my new diet. This isn't the first time I've dieted but I'm hoping it will be the last time! I've been overweight for about 9 years and keep blaming it on other things (giving up smoking, 2 pregnancies, no time to exercise etc) but the sad fact of the matter is it's all my fault. I love food and I love picking (little pickers wear big knickers!). I would like to lose 3 stone in total to take me back to a time I felt comfortable in my own skin but for now my goal is 14lbs by Christmas.
Lots of the success stories have already motivated me and I look forward to the support a great place like this will offer, and if I can help anyone in return that will be even better!

.. not easy I know, but it will be well worth it in the end.

I tried the Paul McKenna and lost 10lb in 2 weeks but then stopped listening to the CD and put it all back on. A lot of his book makes sense in regards to asking yourself if you are actually hungry when you reach for food and that's what I keep trying to do now too. Good luck with your weight loss.
