Thread: Newbie :D

Hi everyone

I've just joined Slimming World for the obvious reason that I really want to shed some pounds. I'm someone who has always been self-conscious about my appearance weight wise pretty much since I started University in 2007 when all the other girls went to classes wearing tight clothes (seriously) and there I was wearing my massive baggy hoodies and jeans....I've never really been thin and growing up with 3 sisters, one of which used to call me
Pork-ahontas always made me feel like crap. Don't get me wrong though I am happy most days, I have friends and a boyfriend who loves me (3 year anniversary on the 16th of December ^_^) but now I think is the time I need to pull up my socks and get to a healthy weight so I have joined here for some support and some tips and tricks on the best way to get rid of extra pounds and look absolutely amazing on my graduation day in January
