    Cambridge weight plan

Hello, and season greetings to you all.

I'm planning to start the cambridge diet on 1st January. I currently weigh 14st 6lbs and I have set myself a target loss of 5 stone.

I'm interested to see if anyone else is thinking of starting the plan.

    Hi there,
Happy Christmas to you, your plan sounds great.
I have just started the Cambridge diet yesterday and will take a break over Xmas. Currently I am 64kg and would like to get down to 55kg for my wedding on 2nd feb. are you looking for a diet buddy?
    Best of luck

Hi Weddingdieter, thanks for the reply....so how are you finding the diet so far? I've read that it gets far more tolerable from day 3 - is this the case with you?

I'm meeting with a consultant on Saturday....and tbh I think my main concern at the moment is what flavours to buy. I think I will go for chocolate mint, strawberry and apple and cinnamon porridge.

    What are your favourite flavours?

    Defiantly looking for a buddy....

    Hi there,

Thanks for your reply . It's been ok so far thank you. I am going to take it easy over Xmas and hit it hard in January. Today I had 3 Cambridge packs and 2 glasses of wine which still was only under 800 calories. Drinking over the festive season will be my biggest down fall I think. Having a vegetable stock cube at work today really helped to fill me up which made the packs tolerable.

Personally I love the vegetable soup and depending on which step I do I like to put broccoli in. There are also some new yoghurt flavoured bars which are lovely. Never tried the powder shakes as I only drink the ready made ones and I don't like the Banana one. Hope that helps you.

Would love a buddy too. My goal is 55kg by 2nd feb for my wedding. Currently I am at 64 kg.

I have tried Cambridge before and lost a stone but I have never really done SS properly.

Would love to share my experiences of the Cambridge plan with you and support you in any way I can.

    Take care
    Em

    Hiya Weddingdieter,

Just wanted to ask how your getting on...I'm now on my 6th day and have done sole source 100% without any cheating.

How was your first weeks weigh in. Also, how are getting on with the wedding preparations?

    Hi moona,
Well done for doing ss so brilliantly for 6 days, that's fabulous. I have lost 0.9 kg this week and 3kg since starting Cambridge before Xmas. I want to lose another 6kg by my wedding in 23 days. I have been doing step 2 on 810 cals or less per day because I enjoy a glass of wine and I am currently going to the gym three times per week. My CDC said my lifestyle would not be suited to SS. How have you found your 6 days? Bet you are going to see some great losses.

Wedding plans are great thanks. I have my final dress fitting in two weeks xxxx

Oh wow...you're weddings tomorrow. For some reason I thought it was 16/02.

You probably won't read this until after the wedding, but I just wanted to wish you all the best. Enjoy every moment of your special day. All the best.....and don't forget to post some pictures of you in your dress xxxx

Hi kiearasmummy! Yep still on it. I had my 4th weigh in earlier today and in 4 weeks I've lost 19lbs. L I'm on sole source, BUT....I have had the odd nibble or two on about 4 days since starting.
What made you change to exante?

Hi moona. Thanks so much for your well wishes. I was 2kg away from my target but I'm pleased with the way I looked in my dress so not too concerned about that.

    All the best
    Xxx
