Hi all

Great forum!

Started doing weight watchers earlier this month ...the old point system. Finding it ok and losing, so am happy ;)

Always used to be around 7.5 stone, even after babies ...many moons ago .... and would like to get close to that again. Have never dieted before so new to watching what I eat ...has been an eye opener! But feeling great that it's coming off. Looking forward to feeling healthier :)

Hello and Welcome :) I have a goal weight of 7 12 so very similar., what's your starting weight? I'm following the WW Propoints System, looking forward to reading your journey. X

Hi:

Weight watchers is a good plan to follow. I did WW about 7 years ago and actually did pretty good.

Hoping the best for you and wish you reach your desired goal.

Thanks everyone!

Serena, starting weight was 9st 4lb, so it's going in the right direction. I think the main thing about doing this has been the awareness of exactly how many calories are in what I eat! I've always eaten fairly healthy, home cooked food and not a overly fond of sweet stuff ...Quit smoking about 10 weeks ago so think that has been a factor in the pounds piling on too. Hope to keep shifting them though :)
This forum is excellent for recipes, tips and obviously full of lovely people.

Did a 1 mile walk this morning too .... in front of the laptop lol Leslie sansones miracle mile i think it's called ....got it on you tube if anyones interested. It's good for when you can't get outside.

Wow our stats are almost the same! My starting weight was 9Stone 5lb! I agree about the awareness of food, last night I really fancied some peanut M&M's and I had 3pp left and that only 'bought' me 13 of the things! Loads of the girls talk about the Leslie walks on you tube, just watch you don't wear your carpet out ;-) I have a diary on here called 'Hello from UKSerena' if you would like to take a look? X

Will check out your diary, thanks ...as you say similar weight and goals, though I'm doing the old style points, not pp .... gonna stick with what I can understand lol

Hoping to work up to the 2 mile walk ...3 mile ..... might even walk to work tomorrow if I can manage to leave earlier :p
