Hey I'm Anna, I currently weight 148lb (10st 8) After dieting from just over 12stone.
I don't necessarily have a target weight, I just want to feel happy in my own skin for once.
However I'm hoping to lose another 8lbs.

I gained a lot of weight last year due to stress and the additional weight just made me feel terrible about myself.
I'v been with my partner for 5 months (after knowing him for a couple of years) and I don't feel confident with him.
Y'Know The whole "I'm not good enough for you, you're probably gonna find someone else" paranoia anxiety thing.
Hoping this will decrease with my weight.

Could do with some support though, Doing a mixture of slimming world syn's and calorie counting.

Genuinely feel terrible tonight though, Just want to cry, and i'm taking it out on my family.

Sorry your feeling so low! My Weight and confidence are always so closely linked and I know what you mean about feeling comfortable in your skin!!

Just remember how much you have already lost and that your partner loves you fr who you are and prob doesn't even notice what weight you are (my partner didn't even notice I had gained over a stone since meeting and was surprised when I told him I needed to diet after someone at work asked me if I was pregnant, looked surprised!!)

I'm doing calorie counting but def need the support of this forum- it's keeps me on the straight and narrow!

Hi Treax, Thank you for your message, I'm currently limiting myself to 1200 calories per day, sometimes I meet this, other times Im between 300-500calories down, I don't know whether this is a sensible decision or if i'm going about it the wrong way, If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated
 
I limit myself to 1200 per day and always try and eat that much!

I get really grumpy if I don't eat enough so always try and stick to it!! Some people find they don't lose weight if they don't eat enough, so maybe keep an eye on your mood and weight loss?

I use my fitness pal and find that really helpful fr monitoring what I am eating! Xx
