Hello everyone ..Im very nervous to be here.

Im new to your site and have virtually lost all hope of losing weight and just keep increasing weight until the next stone:(. I really do need some advice/help/support anything to help get me started on my weightloss journey. I cant start a weightloss club as I dont have any confidence and suffer from anxiety so I am hoping to receive motivation from you guys and your own success in weightloss...your stories and how you have done it/are doing it. My goal is so my children are not embarrassed by my weight and to gain some self confidence. Thanks x
 
Hey what diet are you planning?? have done it through cutting down and cutting stuff out joining a gym.. you dont need to cut everything out can afford a few sins if you get right back on it!! was a cheesy chip, crisp eating, pizza munching junk food addict oh and red bull addict so far ive not touched a red bull in months!! :D I still like a drink but now instead of mixing vodka with yet more red bull mix with a low calorie mixer! good luck hun you can do it!! xx
 
Some slimming clubs have online membership where you don't have to go to a group class. We are all on a weight loss journey so I'm sure everyone will be here to support you xx
 
Hi Steff thanks for your message:) The diet i was thinking is a low fat/low carb diet? but I am like you and love crisps...chips..cheese...pies...pasties...all the wrong foods that taste so nice. I did attend a gym for 2 weeks but had to quit because my anxiety problems were getting worse so ive just bought a treadmill and im determined not to use it as a clothes hanger! lol. I was wondering do you or anyone else know how many calories and grams of fat I should be eating in a day to be able to lose weight? Thanks once again xx

I know we're not on the same plan, but thought I'd share, I had the same thing with the gym, I can't stand the thought of going! Getting exercise equipment in my own home was THE BEST thing I've ever done! I shoved my crosstrainer etc in front of the television, so when I get a spare minute I either have to use it to watch TV or move it to watch TV, either way it's a good struggle!

If you Google BMR calculator it should tell you how many calories you're burning on average a day, you need to stick close to that in order to keep healthy, but a bit under to lose weight.
 
Hi there Llamasoks thanks for your message :) Thats a good idea of yours to plonk it directly in front of the tv and work out for the duration of the programme your watching...im going to try that...its currently in the conservatory atm and can use it in there with that tv and it doesnt disturb the rest of the family too much :) Thanks for that suggestion. I will also google the bmr calculator to xx
