Hello, my name is Sarah and I am new to Minimins. I am also just starting with my attempt to lose weight. I haven't decided on what kind of diet I'd like to follow. I want to lose weight responsibly and don't like to do any crash diet. For now I started with eliminating all fast sugars from my food intake and I started walking. So looking for a good diet, exercise ideas and above all, a lot of support! :)

the sort of diet you want is down to personal preference. I really like slimming worlds approach where you can eat as much of the 'free' and 'superfree' foods these do not need weighing and you can eat as much as you like, as well as healthy extra (a) which is cheese and milk products and a healthy extra (b) which is bread, cereals etc and between 5 and 15 syns a day which is everything else you can possibly eat ( chocolates, crisps, biscuits etc)

for me this is perfect as I love food and could limit my food without feeling like im starving!

as I said though it a very personal thing :) good luck on picking, and stick around on the forum, its very helpful and incredibly supportive :)
