Newbie on Slimming world

Hello,

My sister and I are giving slimming world a go and hoping that we will motivate each other. I've got less to lose but I guess that means it will be slower for me. I'm 26 and as heavy as I've been and I can see it creeping on without me noticing so trying to put an end to it. I want to feel fit, healthy and energetic. I want to be able to wear whatever I want and I'm looking forward to me and my sister looking and feeling great in 2014. I'm about 2 weeks in so going to weigh myself today and see if its working. :)

Aww good luck to you! It's great you've got your sister doing it with you. Those are some of my reasons for losing weight I guess they are most peoples but once you've done it you'll never look back. Good luck!

Good luck with your weigh in! i've just started back on slimming world last week after having my son, I have done it before and have to say it works for me, great that you have your sis with you as well :)

Thanks guys. Weighed myself at boots and apparently I'm now 5lbs lighter but I did my first weigh in at a freinds house and I think it might have made me seem heavier. I'll just stick to boots now on. Yeah I like never needing to feel hungry on slimming world. Good luck to you both and thanks for welcoming me on. :)

Well done Lauren, It's brilliant when you have someone to help motivate you. Have never found someone to go to the groups with me so put it off, hoping joining here will motivate me in stead :) xx

Hi everyone,

I'm an at home SWer too. Never fancied the meetings especially on my own.

in 2012 I was a successful slim dieter but too many naughty days have brought me back to the land of weighing.

Not got as much to lose this time around but loving this forum and feeling HEALTHIER :)

Hello everyone :) I'm the big sister (in more than just age ) doing SW at home and via skype/phone with Lauren, who knew there was so much to discuss when it comes to eating!! looking forward to getting healthier and slimmer in 2014 with Lauren. Been up and down with my weight for years but always slip back up, I'm turning 30 this year and got quite a bit to loose but feeling determined. Also trying to get down to have a breast reduction this year, if anyone has any experience of this I have loads of questions and would love any advice etc. Just finished my first week and have lost 2lbs so we are moving on the right direction!

bye for now,

Joanne xx

Hey all, wee update on progress, lost 2lb in my first week and weighed myself yesterday after week 2 and lost another 4lb :) although had a wee slip last night as a bit of a treat for the loss (a bit backwards I know!). Anyway, back on it today and about to start doing some exercise to feel less guilty about last night!
