Hello Minimin Folk

Simply I'm new to SW and am a bit baffled by it all. I'm on the Extra Easy diet as I'm hoping its the easiest for me to stick to. I'm not holding my breath for my first weigh in on Monday as Ive been to the pub twice this week for Birthdays. I've tried when choosing options options from the menu to go for grilled meat and either a jacket potato or new potatoes. Maybe not the best week to start a diet - but hey ho.
I'm struggling really getting my head around the syns to be honest. I get my milk so I dont used any of the other healthy a's. I know i would have to count them as syns if i did and I dont use cheese much anyway ... Oh I forget I have a Muller ligt yoghurt a few times a week but thats either 1.5 or 0.5 a syn so thats not to bad. Where I struggle is my healthy b's and understanding the meats. Is it ALL meat as long as the fat is removed is free? I'm wondering if the local butcher (very yummy) is a good place to go. I have used the steak mince from the butchers in the past and its always cooks with hardly ANY fat compared to the lean mince that i buy in the shops which swims in well euck. Surely the butchers is better for me?
