    Hi everybody.. first day :) need dieting advice!

    Hi everyone im 23 and 5'7 but I weigh 15st8lb which my bmi says is obese so I need to get a move on and I just want to be comfortable for the summer! My problem is I am the FUSSIEST person to try to diet I hate everything healthy! Ive started slimming world but im not doing so good at finding filling meals that I like... can anybody give me some advice please? Thanks xx

    Hiya, I'm doing slimming world. It's such a great diet. The best thing about it is you can adapt your favourite foods, cook them slightly different and make them free! Do you go to class? What are your favourite foods? There's a slimming world cook book coming out next week called 'Fakeaway's'! Which is all takeaway's adapted to suit the diet. Good luck and keep posting on here. The support is great on here. I've lost 6 1/2lbs this week and this site has really helped keep me focused and motivated xx

    I am on Slimming World too and find that it fits in best with my lifestyle as I can still cook meals for my family but adapt them to be slimming world friendly. As with all lifestyle changes it will take a while to get used to it. Maybe sit down and think about what your favourite foods are that you don't think you could give up - then work out the syn values and see if you can encorporate them into your plan. It's better to use your syns on things you love than cutting them out completely and end up falling off the wagon because you're craving them.
