Hi I'm charlie, I'm 24 years old 6ft 4 and 22stone male. My aim is to get to about 16 stone. And I have just joined a gym and will be going three times a week. I am worried about excess skin ? And also I will upload pictures I have large manboobs and want to know if they will go ? Or is it a condition called gynecmastia ? I could also do with some diet plans. Hope to get some good replys. Hi Charlie and welcome!
I think the main key to avoid excess skin is to tone up and lose weight slowly at a steady pace, then your body has time to get used to the change. Three times a week seems like a great start to avoid excess skin. Your overall body mass should reduce, so "manboobs" should start to go as well, if when you lose weight they don't, maybe consult a doctor, but I'd say overall it's probably weight related.

What kind of diet plan are you thinking of? If you're worried about excess skin, I'd recommend a plan where you get to eat clean and get your body the nutrients it needs, as something like shakes might make you lose weight too fast, you'll need protein if you're going to the gym.
Good luck!

Hay thanks for the quick reply :) is there any diet plans you can recommen ? Thanks x

Personally I do SW because I'm a foodie, but if I were doing the gym 3 times a week and needed lots of protein I'd consider the natural diet (think it's caveman or paleo on here) which is unprocessed, clean and natural food. I'm not sure of the ins and outs as like I say I don't do it at the moment but there's lots of threads about it.
Mainly though, you have to find one that works for you, some people count calories as they like the strictness, others SW because it's less limiting, it depends what you're hoping to get from it, just weight loss, healthier, skinny etc.

Daft question, but can overweight cause bags under eyes ?

Sometimes yes, especially if you're overweight because of bad food, not just too much, if you're not getting the right nutrients then it's possible!

Exactly the same way you started a new thread here, just in the right section (think it's in the main forum bit) just keep it under a threat and log as you eat :)
