Hi everyone, I thought I would introduce myself!
I am a Slimming World (Online) newbie and was really glad to discover Minimins, as I'd thought SW would have its own forums but apparently not!
I only signed up this week and am planning to start on Monday. I'm still getting my head around the diet and am going to plan meals for next week and go shopping at the weekend. My husband is unofficially joining me on the diet, so I'm not going it alone.
I have 3 stone to lose to get back to the weight I feel happiest at. The weight has gone on over the past three years through a combination of stress-related emotional eating, quitting smoking (two years in September!) and a higher salary which has allowed for more meals out and nicer wine!
Currently feeling quite optimistic about SW as I have a friend who's lost a huge amount of weight on the plan. Unlike other diets it also seems really sensible and possible to maintain.
Hope to get to know some of you on here and look forward to chatting/exchanging tips!
