Hey people. I found out about minimims after I signed up at my local slimming world group and whenever I search the Internet for syn values, this site always comes up. So after being on a slimming world diet for 10 weeks I decided it's time to sign up here.
I'm loving slimming world. Love that I can eat normal portions of food and not starve. And if I'm careful with my syns I can actually eat ice creams or sweets or even have an occasional beer or cocktail when out.
I have a lot of weight to lose. But I've had a good start and have lost just over 2 stones in 10 weeks without even exercising. I really struggle with the exercise part especially In Cyprus' hot and humid summer months.
Another difficulty I find is a lot of products in slimming world directory are products you get in UK and you can't get everything over here.
Anyway, I'm going out tonight to a restaurant that is famous for sea food platters and I've decided to not have any because they are very buttery and mostly fried. They also serve sushi and I know sushi isn't syn free but is generally very low in syns. Especially the ones without avocado. Don't expect anyone to be able to syn what I'll be having but can someone tell me if it'll be under 15 syns or if it will be a lot under my 15 syns and I'll also be able to have a low syn cocktail. This is what I'm having:
4 pc Salmon California Rolls, 4 pc Tuna Fashion Sandwiches, 3 pc Prawn Nigiri, 3 pc Crab Stick Maki.

Another quick question is are margaritas really only 6.5 syns? In my slimming world booklet in the back of the syn section in Mexican restaurants it says that a margarita drink is 6.5 syns.
