Hello!

Hi, I'm new here and new to the world of weight loss dieting. I've been gradually putting on weight since my hysterectomy 8 years ago and was shocked this morning when I weighed myself! I'm not massive but certainly overweight. I'm fed up with finding my clothes too tight, etc, etc. I would like to loose 2 stones at least.

I'm not a member of any slimming club as yet and don't know if I want to join one. I know my portion sizes have got bigger and I snack a lot. I'm hoping that by reducing portion sizes and cutting out cheese, which I'm really fond of, will be enough of a change. Perhaps you can tell me if I'm likely to be successful with this approach or not...

Thanks

Kaz

Hi Kaz, Welcome to the forum. Well done on recognising the need to get things under control quickly rather than waiting until there's a lot to loose which makes it so much more difficult.
I'm sure you'll soon get those few pounds off with some sensible adjustments to your eating habits.

I wish you all success in your challenge.

Onwards and Downwards! :girlpower:
