Hi all,

I joined because I felt outside of the slimming world groups the support isn't very good. I started 5 weeks ago due to a referral from the docs, and in my first week with no exercise just changing how I eat I lost 11pounds?! Quite chuffed with this (but thinking it must be a fluke) I continued my consultant advised because I changed my diet so much it wasn't a shock I had lost so much. Anyway 5 weeks in and (17 pounds lighter)I really enjoy the group and the teachings from other members, tbh don't think much of my consultant as she seems quite fake, but has obviously helped other wise I wouldn't have done well. So to get to my point, I had my first "maintained weight" week this week due to being ill at the weekend deeming me bed bound, so I really want to kick next weeks bum, issue is I struggle with lunches like what to have etc. I've taken up storing fruit in my draws (I work at a desk for 8 hours) and other than a pasta mix I've been making (tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, chicken and pasta 0 syn value) I can't find anything else and can't find any easy recipes online. I would like a "superspeed" but with high filling idea but any help would be welcome. Sorry if this went on a bit have been dying for answers to this question

Hello to you. I too have recently joined Slimming World, also on a GP referral. So far so good I am pleased to say. I too have an office job and miss my lunchtime sandwich. Instead I am using Sunday to make a soup - current favourite s the SW recipe for Pea and ham. I alternate this lunchtimes with a cous cous salad. Spice the cous cous with curry powder and a stock cube. I then add spring onion, cherry toms, grated carrot, peppers, sweetcorn - whatever I have really - and also some form of meat. This too is prepared on a Sunday. Means lunchtime is no problem and there is something to hand.

Good Luck with it!!

That is an incredible amount of weight loss! My lunches are the same every day really for me wholemeal roll ham leaf salad cucumber and a load of strawberries with a muller light lol, so I can't say much inspiration from me haha! Good luck on your journey though!!! :)
