I have just joined on here and was wondering if anybody has the latest slimming world magazine, I have just made the sweet and sour chicken recipe which serves 4 people and it say's it is 2 syns per serving . I am very confused as I have been a s/w member for years and apart from 1 syn for the tbsp of corn flour every thing else is free. OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING.

Might it be that there is oil in there and oil is no longer a hex b so must be syns? Haven't seen the recipe so can't help apart from this.

Hiya..I am looking at recipe and I think because you are cooking the pineapple it has a syn value and that is why it is 2 syns. All cooked/mashed or pureed fruit has a syn value so hope this helps!
