    Any advice

    Hi all

I am taking xenical at the moment after having done LL, Cambridge, WW, SW etc. I have never had much luck losing weight and really need to lose about 6 stone. I have been sticking to about 1600 cals a day and taking xenical, so keeping fat down at around 30g a day. exercising regularly too. I am not losing weight although my fitness levels have improved and my body shape has changed. I came across a website about this diet and it sounds intriguing. Can anyone tell me how they do it and what kind of results people are getting?

    Hi was my name mentioned....

    Shep calling in for duty

Can anyone tell me how they do it and what kind of results people are getting?

I am bak on the JUDDD and doing well, it comprises of (and please free to jump in if I am wrong still a newbie)
a DD (down day) and a UD (up day) so wot I do is a DD of 500 cals and an UD 2000 cas.

So on the DD i tend to eat very late in the day and try to be as good as possible and keep the fluids up (i'm not good with plain water but I drink tea for England just count the calories) and on the UD i eat what I want (no bingeing) upto the 2000 cals.

I find that by doing this I dont feel as if I am on a diet and going low on cals for 1 day is a lot easier than spending months on it (like CD LL)

    Hope this helps in anyway.

Good luck in whatever you choose any other questions just ask, we are all in the same boat here....

    Hi Sharon,

Yes juddd is great, you get great results with it if you stick with the dd's and don't go over on them. I watch my ud's too and usually calorie count on them although you don't have to, as I like to stay in control. Like Shep said, waiting as long as poss before eating on a dd is the best thing to do. I usually split mine into 5 x 100 cals (there are lots of things you can have for 100 cals), and plan in advance, it's easier on a dd if you know what you're having and when. Plenty of water too, the more the better but at least 2 litres. I tend to have 3-4 litres a day.

The first few dd's can be tough, but once you get into the swing of it it gets easier. You have to watch the ud's too for the first week or so, as you'll be wanting to eat more. But after a while this decreases and your appetite levels off.

Good luck and if you have any other q's just shout xx

    JUDDDering from 3/9/09
Restart 1/1/11 - I WILL do it this time, I know I can and i know my plan works, just keeping the weight off was the problem, grrrr
