    Possible Noob!

    Evening all

After two years on Slimming World, my weight loss has come to a hault. I have not lost any weight for two weeks running and the weeks prior to that have been 0.5lb losses. I think thats my body telling me it's time to move onto something else for a bit!

Anyway, i'm thinking this JUDDD diet is looking good, but I have a few questions:

    1) Can you really eat what ever you want on 'up days'? Do you have to have a certian amoun tof fruit or veg or can you nosh out on chocolate and crisps all day if you choose and not worry about how many calories i'm consuming?

    2) Can you do two 'up days' in a row followed by two 'down days' in a row or do you have to alternate your days?

    3) On the 'down days' I understand you shouldnt go over 500 calories. Is it easier to get ready meals etc on these days?

    4) How do people honestly find this diet? Is it a short term fix or a way of life?

    5) Maintaining, how do you know when your ready to maintain? How do you maintain?

Sorry for all the questions, I have had a good read and looked in the 'answers and questions' sectoins but just wanted to make sure i was getting things right as it all sounds a little too good to be true!

    Thanks, Sarah

    Hi Sarah

    In answer to your questions:

Yes, I eat what I like on an up day and I don't count calories. You find you don't go mad on chocolate and sweets because you know you can have them every other day. Of course you should aim to eat your five portions of fruit and veg as that's good for you.

Meal replacements are an excellent way to make sure you don't exceed your 500 cals on a Down Day.

You can follow this way of eating for life, you just increase your DD calories until your weight loss levels out. I will go on to maintainance when I reach my target weight.

Good luck with JUDDDD - I recommend you buy the book, it's great.
