    Boofaloos unit diet progress

On advice from carrot tit i'm starting my unit diet diary!

Over the last few weeks i've tried and failed to get back onto CD. It had got me so down that I was almost ready to throw in the towel and leave minimins with my tail between my legs!

Giving up isnt an option for me though - at the moment I am only just ok to ride my goregous pony. It upsets me knowing i am almost too heavy for him. This is just one of many reasons why i have to lose my weight.

I read a thread by chance about the unit diet and did some research last night. I wanted to do something completely different from CD and the unit diet seems to take the best bits from WW and SW and combine it.

So today I have started. I ordered the e- membership and have been busy reading all about the diet. So far I cant believe i'll lose weight eating all this food! Only time will tell!

    Thanks DQ!
Have just had to have a bowl of special k with raspberries and skimmed milk as i was feeling decidedly whoozy - still cant get over the fact that it's free food.
I feel a bit better and have put my dinner on. I'm really lookng forward to my skinny cow ice cream whilst watching CSI tonight, just gotta get work over and done with and kids to bed!

I always have a massive bowl of cereal first thing in the morning and it keeps me going for ages. If I have anymore cereal after that throughout the day I always make sure its a 30g bowl, so I can keep a check on it.

I noticed you put 1 slice of toast and scrape of marg at 1 unit.

If your using medium sliced bread its 2 slices for half a unit. so depending on what bread your using you may be allowed another slice.

I'm glad your enjoying the diet. I look forward to seeing your progress

Yep i like the bars - i have got the choc mint and the caramel bars. I think i like the mint one better but anything is good when i need a sweet fix and for 1/2 unit per ice lolly they are ideal!

Still really chuffed about the diet. I'm in a bit of a quandry over the scales though. I'm dying to get on to see if i've lost but i also feel i should wait until next tuesday morning. I just dont want to get on next tuesday and be disappointed. Hmmmm, i'll see how it goes.

Well if you weigh in and see no change, no harm done cos it's only been a couple of days. And remember the average loss on a 'food' plan is around 1 - 3 lbs per week.

Well i got on the scales and it showed 2lbs loss. I have just finished TOTM as well so this maybe why as i've only been doing the diet 2 days!!
Still i am very very pleased as i was sure with what i'd eaten i'd have put weight on!

Tonight is gonna be a little challenging. my sister is coming over and we have decided to have papa johns pizza. I could have said no but then i'd have felt like i was missing out and the whole idea of me doing this plan is to have what i want but to make allowances for it.
So i've been on the website and worked out 2 slices of my favourite pizza the works 14" is 4 1/2 units each.
I plan to have free foods during the day today and then have 2 slices of pizza with lots of salad and a SC ice cream for afters. This will work out at 9 1/2 units so all will be good as long as i stick to the plan!!
