Don't worry about the gain. it will come off easily. Sometimes changing the amount you eat can be good for a diet and you will probably find that staying firm this week will see you half a stone lighter at your next weigh in.

Diet: Unit
Today I have started back at Uni I am in year 4 now so near yet so far, i think my head is going to explode with the amount of work they expect of us plus we were told that we now have to stay overnigh and then carry on the next day!!!! Oh well I knew it would happen eventually maybe filling up my days will stop me eating!
I have not eaten much today as been filling sick with a migraine.
B- slice melon
L-yogurt
D- frosties

Thanks hon just been asleep for 2 hours so feel a bit better now hubby has just rand to see if I want a Mcdonalds bringing home at 8.30 for tea am very temted will have a look at units first x Glad to see you maintained x

Hey Katie,

Hope your migraine is much better now. Year 4 of Uni sounds like it's gonna be a tough one for you ... I can sympathise with you - I work full time and am studying for my degree alongside work. It's tough, but somehow we just cope!!! If you are anything like me, don't turn to food when the going gets tough. Food is never the answer to stress - only the creator of more stress when we notice we have ballooned up and piled on the poundage!! Ho Hum!!

Remember to try and take a little time out each day just for you - use it to chill out and pamper yourself a little I'm certain it will help to keep you sane!!

So, do tell. Did you have the macdonalds?? What did you have and how many units??

Hi all migraine went thank you and did have a Mcd's I had a strawberry shake 2 units and nuggets 5 so not too bad. Today I have had yet another day from hell it was my first day of community placement and I am starting to feel that I am really not clever enough to finish my degree, I feel like every question I got asked I could not think of the answer on the spot Oh well have had a good good day so far but evenings are always a struggle for me lol.

B- all bran 1/2, banana 0, milk 0.

L- Ham 1/2, salad, 5 olives 0. 2 nectarine and watermelon.

D- not feeling very inspired at moment see what i fancy later x

How are you in general - are you still enjoying the diet? I'm getting back into it properly now and feel alot better. You are doing really well - 5 units for today is fab, keep going girl! x

I'm studying medicine but as I said its not going too well at the moment im doing ok with units but am just a bit down at moment so just trying to stop binging, well done on getting back on track x

Medicine .... blimey!! You go girl!! That's fab, no wonder you're feeling the pressure - but I'm sure you'll get through your placement no problem. Think positive hun, that should help with the stress and keep your mood up - just remember, food is never the answer!

5 units for yesterday is brilliant! Does anyone else find that because we can have anything we like (as long as within 70 units per week) that you don't crave naughty things? I really enjoyed all my food yesterday and just knowing I could have chocolate or crisps if I wanted them made me not want them!!!

Sometimes that works for me farkie - other times i just crave chocolate all day and as it's so high in units i cant have it cos only a little bit wouldnt be enough!

Good on you Katie for doing medicine - i have a couple of friends who are studying to be doctors and they are finding it just as tough. One of them has a baby and has struggled with juggling her wee one and the course. I take my hat off to you. Take it easy and go easy on yourself - maybe when you've finished your studies you can concentrate on 'dieting'. In the meantime just look at the unit diet as healthy eating maybe?

Just got in from work have had nothing to eat or drink since 8.00 this morning I have yet another banging head ache I know it will be worth it in the end no pain no gain and all that just wish there was a little less pain lol on the plus side I have enjoyed starting paediatrics today despite getting dehydrated lol xx So food today-

You need to eat more! Maybe your headaches are because you're hungry? I certainly wouldnt be a happy bunny if all i had was frosties to last me the whole day!

Do you have anytime to pack a lunch or buy a sandwich? Packs of snack a jacks and cereal bars are good low unit snacks, as well as fruit.

I'm sure you'll lose weight quickly hun you're doing great but dont be hungry theres no need.
