I'm Susie, 50, with a cat as my dependent. It's the usual story, I've been eating rubbish for years and not exercising, and steadily put weight on until I realised that if I don't do something I'll need to be airlifted out of the house - not the sort of fame I want!
After two years of trying low carb, falling off the wagon, going awol, trying again (you all know this cycle, I'm sure), I have decided to try JUDDD, buoyed by successes by a few friends here. Low carb is great, but it's pretty unforgiving, and I get double the totm - one a month is more than enough, thank you!
I've been reading your diaries and will get the book this week, but am sure I will still have lots of questions and will rely on your experience to keep me on the straight and narrow
Thanks to my size, I'm on what seems fairly generous cals - 504 DD, 2520 UD. I don't work Mondays so thought I'd start on UD today and have time to make up soups and shakes for tomorrow. I'll be putting menus on MFP and you are all welcome to cruise by and make sure it looks OK - my handle's ladyfelsham (so original lol).
