    Hello, I thought it was time to start a diary as I found it so helpful during my Exante/S & S sentence. Fortunately I was granted early parole from that one as it was messing with my eczema. But pretty successful, even though I felt awful for most of the time I was on it.

    Looking back at my old diary it turned into a 100 page moan fest, so it will be interesting to see how this one goes!!

    A brief history of me............ About 9 years ago I weighed over 24.5 stone and lost around 11.5 stone in 9 months by calorie counting and I maintained a weight of about 13.11 for several years until I moved to Abu Dhabi with my lovely DH, the Abu Dhabi stone turned into the Abu Dhabi 3 stone and I went on S & S/Exante to shift it, I got down to 13.4 ( I think on that plan).

    I've been messing and I mean messing with various plans CC/SW/you name it, since about August as I really want to finally get all my lose skin removed and ideally I need to get another 2 stone off and get into the gym to get the ground work done. I gained on SW and CC I'm an angel in the week and then go drinking at the weekend, so any losses were straight back on and my weight it bobbling up ad down by as much as 10lbs a week. ( Can that be right?) I am sure that i have some sort of food intolerance, soy seems to be an issue but beyond that I've no idea what, so this diary will be a food diary as well which will hopefully let me get to the bottom of whats causing my issues.

    Anyhoo, I got the JUDDD book a few months back and felt it could work for me, especially since in all honesty I am a going to drink and have a meal out at the weekend and no amount of saving syns or calories seems to be dealing with it.

    I don't feel my usual...right this is is this diet will work scam going on here, I feel relieved about this woe. I know I will be hungry today, but it's not like a VLCD where I have to have willpower of steal for an indeterminate period, it really is just one day at a time.

    Had my first DD yesterday, definitely not going to use S & S packs I was really hungry especially around 4pm, but I got through it, drank loads of tea/coffee/water/coke zero and had a splitting headache all day. Total 431 cals

    Woke up this morning not feeling hungry and the headache is gone, feel very refreshed and happy to report -2lbs, yaaaaaayyyy

    Well done with the DD and congratulations on a good kick start to the weight loss....the DD's do get easier, its just finding the foods or fluids that get you through it best for you!
    Oh and I must say you have done an amazing job to lose so much weight already..the last 2 stone should be a breeze!

    Thanks Jilly, I've been stuck for a while with this last 2 stone so it's time to attack it before I turn 40 in March!!

    I was fine on the DD I think I'll just not bother eating during the fast, the minute I started I was starving!

    Read Eat Stop Eat yesterday, very informative little ebook and definitely worth a read.

    Fasting today from 11am until 11am tomorrow, 24 hours is all thats required for optimum fat burning it seems

    Just about completed a 24 hour fast from 11am yesterday to 11am today, totally clean, no calories, found it tough, switching from 5pm to 5pm for the next one which will be Wednesday evening until Thursday evening to allow for weekend frolicking, I have lost about 4lbs. I am not saying a word about my first UP day after the 36 hour fast on Saturday.

    Found it hard yesterday preparing dinner for DH and then his lunch for today, I think the secret is to make him things that I don't like LOL.

    New scales arriving today, I have ones that do full kg's and I hate them as there is a big difference between 1 kg and the next!! So far so good.
