2 more. I should change the name of my diary really but I'm going to see what I look like at 10 stone ( I actual believe I can do it now) and decide if I need to lose any more then. I used to weigh 8 pre 7 kids but I weight trained like Hannah 5 days week and lived on fresh air - not healthy at all. I want to have a life as well as be slim so I will probably stop at 9 half 10 ish. I'm dreading maintenance. I think that's harder then losing it. xx How much more to you want to lose?

I'm 5ft 1 and am hoping to get to nine stone...if I can get under super I was a gym bunny myself but really don't get the time anymore....I wasn't built but toned and felt weights kept me nice and tight...once I've got rid of some flab I'd love to do a bit again x although anything like the Lats would cripple me at the mo because my hips are knackered ... could live with nice toned arms Tum and back though ;-)

7 kids!!!! You deserve a medal!! I only got three and finding any me time is so difficult lol x would be great to be slim mummies though my youngest is five and said to me at Christmas "mummy I don't want a fat mummy no more!!!!" God love him...out of the mouths if babes eh lol x

I haven't been near a gym in years. I never have the time either. My last kids were twins so that how I ended up with 7. They are all getting older now. Ones going to uni in September, two have moved in with their oh's and two are moving out soon to get a flat together. I'll only have the twins and dh left. The house will rattle. I'm the largest here too. Dh weighs 8 stone fully dressed. Built like Kurt Russell in his younger days tho so I'm not complaining.

Yes OH eats like a horse too. I've found it quite difficult on DD's when he is sat next to me scoffing some calorie laden food. xx

Reasons I think JUDDD may not work for everyone.

I'm no expert. It's only my third week BUT I ate like this when I was much slimmer tho I didn't have a name for it then. However I think weight loss, stalls or sts on this plan cos of several factors:-

Eating way too much on UD's. If I eat 4,000 calories on an UD and 500 on a down I am still eating too much to lose weight. End of.

Eating way too little on UD's so the body goes into starvation mode.

Having too many UD's on the trot.

Overestimating how much exercise I have taken and justifying eating more as a result.

Using UD's to eat nothing but crap. I've was two weeks in before I realised I'd not had a single piece of fruit for a fortnight. Also if I m not hungry on 500 calories ( or a complete fast) why do I feel the need to force back 2,000 the next day? I don't any more. I think the whole point is NOT force feeding. I think I'm supposed to listen to my body. That's a first for a long time for me. All slim people I know only eat when they are really hungry. They do not do mindless TV grazing ( my down fall).

Expecting too much too soon. ALL plans start off well with great losses then slow to a 1- 2 lb a week with stalls. I think they are supposed to. Eating a vlcd is not sustainable forever even if weight drops off at an amazing rate. Sooner or later the fridge monster will call.

You have done an amazing job, however your reasons are why 'diets' don't work, followed correctly JUDDD works for just about everyone!!!!

Eating way too much on UD's. If I eat 4,000 calories on an UD and 500 on a down I am still eating too much to lose weight. End of.
JUDDD would not be to blame for this as JUDDD sets around 4-500 for DD's and 1900-2200 for UD's!

Eating way too little on UD's so the body goes into starvation mode.
As above...not JUDDD. Not starvation mode; but Suppressed Metabolism due to loss of healthy calorie burning lean body mass from under eating. Which is why VLC diets don't work as well the second time people try them after regaining the lost weight!

Having too many UD's on the trot.
Spot on JUDDD is UD DD UD DD, some of us however find it easier to keep to by having our weekends off!

Overestimating how much exercise I have taken and justifying eating more as a result.
JUDDD actually does not expect you to calculate exercise or eat the calories back.

Also if I m not hungry on 500 calories ( or a complete fast) why do I feel the need to force back 2,000 the next day? I don't any more. I think the whole point is NOT force feeding. I think I'm supposed to listen to my body.
Tricky one this as its nothing to do with JUDDD but trying to justify why you feel the need to under eat to achieve your weight loss. 2000 calories is not 'force feeding'..and does not have to be 'crap' food. Certainly to fall short of 2000 calories on the odd day is never going to be a problem, even consistently eating 1700 is not, however by your own admission you were netting less than 1000 calories daily.....not good over a period of time.

Expecting too much too soon. ALL plans start off well with great losses then slow to a 1- 2 lb a week with stalls. I think they are supposed to. Eating a vlcd is not sustainable forever even if weight drops off at an amazing rate. Sooner or later the fridge monster will call.
Except for the I think they are supposed to....100% right...the reason they do is down to the pure maths of calories in calories out once excess water has gone!

Don't try to over think JUDDD it really is as simple as it appears to be! xxxx

Thanks I was getting my head around it Jilly cos I have seen posts on here saying JUDDD doesn't work. I was mulling over why. I think it does and hope it will do in the long term. I do find it hard to eat 2000 on an UD tho I never thought I'd be saying that I agree 1,000 is way too low and was putting me in the vlc mode I was trying to avoid in the first place. I'm about a 1,500 now so getting there slowly. xx

DD started at 3 pm but starving now. Had a quick look on mfp and only had 1000 on UD. Must do better than this.
