    You're getting there hun- its always one step forward - 4 back with me. xx I'm thinking of going to consecutive fasts too. It's getting a bit to easy to shave time off the 5-5. Just got to work out how to do it. I should do DD all tomorrow until Tuesday morning but I've just finished a DD and am at hospital miles away tomorrow and I know I'll want food tomorrow night when I get home. Unless I stuff my face tonight it won't work and I'm not hungry. However the best losses seem to be the ones who do it consecutively. Got to work out a plan xx

    Thanks I'm hoping the longer fasts might get the losses going more consistently and over time I might be able to drop a DD doing longer fasts. We'll see. I could be back to 5-5 by next Wednesday lol. Had good news from the hospital tonight. My mum's had her op and is doing well. Woo hoo. Going to see her tomorrow ( hossie miles away and live in the sticks with no transport that why I've not been yet) Meanwhile having a celebratory glass of red x

    I've got a new plan as well, I wasn't going to reveal it due to starting to come across like a total maniac, but I'm running out of time for my 40th!!

    I am doing full UD/DD's now I actually find it easier (weird me!) I'm then doing 16/8 on UP days ( so start eating at 2pm -10pm) It's the only way I can realistically restrict my calories to get this machine going, it also means I can just adjust the window on Thursday (time off required for drinks) instead of having a full UD which I don't need and feel is what done me in last week. I am a tweaker, my other half wants to hear no more about it now!

    Thanks Jilly Yes it was a worry. What she had was life threatening and they dithered about before they treated her which was a huge worry but she recovering now. I'm still have two UD at weekends but my fasting times will be longer then 24 hours due to doing consecutive days. I've never had two UD together anyway cos even tho I said I would I ended up turning the second one into a DD. I am hoping this will give me longer fast times but not as many. I will see how it goes. xx

    LOL - both maniacs together then. I have fiddled about for a fortnight now. That sounds like a great plan. I hate the eating it cos it's an UD mentality I was getting into. My OH is fed up of it too. xx

    Totally what I'm trying to get out of, I don't want to CC so I need to find a way of getting round my own head and not realising I am doing it..........I am truly mad I know!! Funny thing is I seem to be getting worse on UD's not better!

    I'm finding ( to my surprise) I come in around 2,000 cals now without noticing it. I have only counted one or two every few days to see and the calories are always around 1,900 unless we've had a celebration. My highest UD has never been more than 2,500. I seem to have an automatic cut off switch now. If I can acquire one anyone can I'm getting better at eating to my appetite instead of stuffing it down cos it's there or it's time to do so lol. However I think, as I lose more weight, 2,000 will be too many to keep losing so I will have to re-adjust my attitude again. I find it helps to not have food in I 'm going to binge on on UD and just have one or two treats planned. ie I have a Cornish pastie I made with my name on in the fridge for later. XX
