Judding to a slimmer me

hi all!
well ive decided to do JUDDD as i was on a vlcd, and after 5 days i ended up feeling very ill and throwing up at everything which i know isnt a bug because when ive had toast earlier, i felt fine soon after. so after talking to the boyfriend ive decided to eat every other day and finish up the shakes on down days.
i currently weigh 11st but i know some will go on after the vlcd. i lost 10lbs in the 5 days though so cant complain :)
my first up day will be tomorrow and ill be doing alternative days, 2000 ud and 500 dd.

hope everyone is okay.

I found the DD's easy but the UD's a trial. Due to the struggle to eat UD calories and the fact I was just eating most of them cos I felt I ought to cos a DD was coming up I've changed to Fast 5 and now have a 5 hour window in which to eat each day with a 19 hour total fast in between in which I just have black coffee, tea or water. I'm hoping it will stop my ALL day UD grazing and my physiological need to stuff it in before the next DD. xx

oh ive heard of that before and quite some good reviews on it! i was thinking of doing that but had no idea like what calories would you eat in that short amount of time etc? have to agree about the ud, its a bit of a struggle to get food down me at the moment lol, but ill probably have a bit more meat at dinner or something. so far so good though :) was thinking of picking up josie gibsons dvd during the week to try out.

Good luck. Hope you get on ok. I love JUDDD after coming from a VLCD ;) x

thank you bedtimebear - how much have you lost on juddd from the vlcd? i know i only did 5 days of the vlcd lol but i did lose 10lbs too on it lol - probably because i got ill on it :/

Hi. I did the Cambridge diet from 3 September - 26 November and lost 34lb in that time. I started JUDDDing on 26 November and by 17 December I had lost another 4lb. That was doing an average of 3-4 down days per week AND included a few days away and several meals out. Over Xmas and new year I did the odd down day here and there but it was mainly ups and I ate and drank a lot. I put on 3lbs. I faffed a bit after Xmas. Went down 1lb, up 1lb and then switched to alternates where I lost 3lb this week.

To put it in perspective, I lost 8lb in my first week on Cambridge. After that it was pretty much always 2lb per week. I thought I would definitely gain when I switched to JUDDD but my weight loss continued. I am so much happier. I constantly felt depressed on VLCD, especially as it effectively stopped my social life whilst I was on it. I only have another 6lb or so to go now and if I can do that with JUDDD ( and maintain it) I'll be a very happy bear. x

oh wow! so cambridge did give you the whoosh but then it just shows for you that you didnt have to give up food completely to lose the same amount of weight from then on? i can def see juddd being a lifelong plan, but with the maintenance not have as low as 500 cals for the down days. do you exercise with it too? i suppose one good thing with this is with social events you dont need to make excuses as to why you cant eat and just have the next day as a down day. x

aww thank you :D lost all of that last year, but by the end of last year i got a bit lazy lol, lowest i got down to was 10st10lbs but then i had 4 birthdays, christmas and new year lol hoping to be back down there soon!
up day today and i woke up not feeling hungry :/ strange. just ate now though nom nom.
just bought josie gibsons dvd from amazon so that should be here tomorrow/thursday - perfect for the weekend :D hope everyone is having a good day
xx

Your doing great well done, I lost 6lbs over the past 3 weeks faffing with my vlcd but basically did judd without realising, I am coming over to judd soon but I want to get into the 11 stone bracket first by giving my vlcd one last shot.

It's strange as I've lost 5lbs since Monday but am not pleased with it, I lost 6lbs over 3 weeks combining judd and vlcd and am soo pleased with the loss, I think it's because I know if I ate a meal tonight those 5lbs would pribay be back as its just water weight but those 6lbs gone with judd I know are gone forever.
