Priya's new attempt on a new journey...
Hey 'waves' evry one ...i have been lurking and reading diaries on here for the past week and you are all so inspiring have also joined the 5/2 n intermittent fasting page on fb...like some of you have i been on the vlcd wagon for ever it feels like tho had embarked it in Jan 2014 ar 12.4 in the summer managed to get down to 10.4 bt then had a few weddings dimt do the refeed n scales broke so then shot slowly bk up to 11.3 managed to b on a vlcd for the past 18 days bt now the scales have stalled again jad a odd day yday stuck to protein bt scales stil shot bk to 10.6 it is disheartening, not eating at all bt yet funily nuf craving healthy food n managin to resist subway even on a day off and pasta...
I stil dont get how this wrks bt it looks reli good and been going over info on the internet too and i am praying this wrks for me n cud b a woe for life...my goal weight is 8.5 and to be a size 8....atm goal is 10.6 and size is a s10 bt cud fo with bit more breathig space tbh n nt b afraid of food nemre as much as i am now and js wud like to shrink overall...most ppl say i dnt have lot more to lose thats y slowed down bt i dnt believe the scales can stay stcuk in the tens on scales gor as long as i have while being deprived bow plannin on vlcd for nine more days a final push to try n attempt to see a glimmer of the nines...then do four days refeed n then embark on this journey for least 4-6 weeks in the new yr before analysing my situation again...i am 4'11, curvy, goig to b 26 in april and going on holiday two weeks inclusive end of april too...day after ma bday tbh and would love to b able to look great in a bikini now this mite go rong but would like to giv it a go....i did attempt it earlier for abt a week bt think lack of knowledge n impatience tgether failed me shockinbgly....i have a diary in the s n s section wich has been ongoing forver have met some amazing people on there hope they wil pop here to say hey n hope i am able to get support from you amazing people on here too....
I miss food i miss family meals i hate being scared of food and lack of inch loss....i thought if i start a diary now then will be mentally prepared for the plan to get into action about two weeks frm nw....and thought tel u guys abit about me i am still overweight n nowhere near my goal weight oh im frm sheffield, currently unemployed wich dnt help with buyin pax situation either lol....currently actively lookin for work its an ongoing mission looking forward to meeting u all and talking and sory in advance for the numerous questions that will surely be coming from me cxxx
K screw the waiting nine days gna start jt today....yday had a salad on a date n still gained thhink vlcd has eithe rnessed me up totaly or i js need to reset ma system we try to nehuu as wnt to b normal....right this week plan is fasting tdai, friday n sunday....
And then nx week strt fresh mon wed fri as fast days n have tues thurs sat n sun off...is that the best way? Would like to try this out til the new yr n see wher i am then....
What r quick n simple things to eat on the first few fast dayS? And how do u find out how mny cals u should have on eating days? I think i shud try n count the first few weeks js incase i dnt end up losin if dnt count cals...ne help or tips or support would be much appreciated as i am
Not going to lie i am terrified of food atm n scared of gaining evrytjing bk but also want to feel bit normal thanku xxx
So today going to try and keep it very brief and simple and going to try to go for a small baked bean tins heinz and one slice of brown breas with less then 10g of greek yogurt on it with one egg and then two or three ten cal jellys and lots of water does that seem ok or no? And green tea too

Hey Hun, Didn't want to read and run, I've been a vlcd yoyoer since 2009 and believe it's naffed my body up, what I'll say is give 5:2 or intermittent fasting a good chance, have you decided which you're doing? You may find you don't lose weight but the inches will be melting, I've only lost 1.5 lbs in 3 weeks but I've dropped a good dress size .
Your fast day looks fab by the way .. Don't think you can put links up but google fast diet for 5:2 up and down day calories and google Johnson's up day down day diet for intermittent fasting calories .

Good luck with fasting Your first fast day looks just fine...as long as your calories are right it doesn't matter what you eat. As for your non fast days I would recommend not to skimp on them. Give your body everything it needs on those days and the fast days will give you your weight loss. You don't need to diet on a non fast day for it to work.

I do apologise in advance if i do blabber a lot on here lol my s n s diary goes on forveer with my ramblings lmaoo i do have the odd panic fits lol regarding my weight bt i do always simmer down lol....so bear with me lol....i am a daily weigher bt in regards to an official weigh in shud i weigh after the last fast of the week?....
Eating day today, not reli been that hungry, just bit ago had two smal pieces of chicken frm mums curry, and two bits of fishes frm her two fish curries one was the othr was a curry n one flat mushroom and a miniature bowls of low fat super noodles with egg stuffed n redy for tnites nite out lol dint wna eat too late in evening or wudb felt bloated bt loving it so far feel full n content dint even crave toast or subway like had been doin on th vlcd....do need to wrk on mkin healthier choices suppose.....and umm i have no idea hw to count like teaspoons of curry :s and dint have rice either like nrmally wudb and also used a smaller plate so yaaay ne tips on counting cals for bites or spoonfuls of curry so nt massive portions or nothing? Xx
Awwww too cute Lexie. It does work and it works well, if you cannot handle even the slightest of gains I'd suggest you don't weigh daily as an empty tum ( day after fast ) to a full tum can be huge. Put it this way. 1ltr of water weighs 2.2lbs so ALWAYS weigh after the last fast of the week. That way you'll see the losses. Drink plenty fruit teas, green tea on fast days to keep you filled up and soups in this cold weather is a lifesaver!

When I came off the vlcd I did it gradual, going from three packs to 2 plus 1 low carb meal then 1 pack and 2 low carb meals till eventually my packs were finished and I vowed to never have a vlcd pack again as all they taught me was how to binge n starve. I low carbed for a few weeks weighed 28th September 2013 at 9.12 then ate carbs with every meal. Fasted mon and wed and didn't weigh again for 2 weeks and was 9.13. I had to make sure my glycogen levels were restored before I could see if this worked. I'm a small size 8 and have kept the weight off since. Gaining a little a few months ago but nothing fasting didn't sort out swiftly.
I wish you the very best of luck and please please please don't daily weigh. I can be 6lbs up mid week but it's always off and more by official weigh day again. Xxx
