Restarting and Determined

I've decided to keep this diary on here as a little bit of extra incentive to keep me going.I lost a lot of weight using JUDDD a few years ago, but over the last 18 months or so it has crept back on and i am back where i started. I've been messing about trying different diets, giving up, thinking whats the point, starting again etc. All the while getting heavier and heavier. Then, two days ago my children ( age 4 and 5) were playing with one of the neighbours kids when i heard him say to them 'your mummy is fat, her name is pig'. Although i was quite upset i know he is a child and doesnt realise the effect his words have. But it made me think my kids are getting to the age where they will notice these things and the thought of me being a reason for them being teased is the greatest incentive i could have for change. So I decided no more messing about, choose an weight loss plan and stick with it - i know JUDDD has worked for me in the past, so here I am.I started yesterday with a Down Day. I went to the gym after dropping my children at nursery, before I started work.I did 20 mins cardio followed by 30 mins weightbearing/kettlebells routine. For breakfast I had a diet protein shake 90 Cals (not nice but good after weights work out)Lunch was cold pasta, carrot battons and strawberries, all weighe dout to give total 160 Cals.Leaving me 250 Cals for tea, I had omlette with cherry tomatoes and spinach.I can honestly say I didnt feel hungry all day and I woke up this morning feeling happy and positive. (and looking forward to an upday)I am working late this evening so have brought all my meals to work with me.breakfast is multigrain porridgelunch is new potatoes, chicken breast, broccoli and gravytea is salad with tuna, cottage cheese and ham.for snack i have yogurt, fruit and an alpen light bar.I am going to try to stick to 1800 calories on a up day. I remember from last time I did struggle more with up days, keeping them under control!! But plenty of low cal and healthy snacks should see me through

So yesterday went well, I had plenty of calories left so had a packet of low fat crisps and a curly wurly as a treat in the evening.Down day again today, have been to the gym this morning so breakfast was a protein shale 90 Cals. For lunch i have chicken and broccoli 150 Cals. Not sure about tea yet, i have a bag a baby spinach that need using up so probably some sort of salad with that.

Had a warburtons thin with half a tin of tuna mixed with a spoon a quark and mustard powder, and spinach in the end. So about 200 calls. Well within limit. May have to go to bed early though so I'm not tempted to eat anything else!

Up day today yipee!Ive had strawberries with quark mixed with sweetner for breakfast.Lunch is linguine with homemade meatballs.Tea is crackers with laughing cow blue cheese triangles, spinach and cherry tomatoes. For snacks i have a warburtons thin with ham and pickles and some fruit.Really enjoying it so far, pleased to be back on JUDDD, its the only thing that gives me real cotrol over what i eat. The weekend is fast approaching though and I cant decide wether to have updays saturday and sunday or just stick with alternate days - think i will se how things pan out

Hi weebuns! It was actually stubbling across your diary that made me decide to restart with juddd. i lost a good 4 stone with it a few years back so hoping for similar this time.I think the support and friendship you all seem to give each other on here is fantastic

Down day today.Been to the gym so the usual protein shake for breakfast 90 Cals.I really struggled this morning though, everything felt like it took twice as much effort us usual.Think next week i might change my gym sessions to the mornings of up days and see how that goes. I'm determined to keep it up though to hopefully help with the dreaded loose skin problem when the weight come off.Have a warburtons thin for lunch with wafer thin ham 140 Cals. Not sure about tea but will be going shopping this afternoon so will look for some inspiration. Having a movie night with the kids tonight so need to resist the temptation of popcorn and sweeties! Wish me luck ha

Had a mushroom and tarragon omelette, immense. How much better does your food taste when your properly hungry?
Think I have converted my mum to juddd to! She has been at slimming world for a while and just totally fed up of it.

Not a great day today! Meal themselves not bad but ate a load of left over garlic bread and went to the cinema and had nuts and sweets! Ah well down day tomorrow then first weigh in on Monday.

Had a fantastic weekend catching up with family and friends, lots of quality time with the kids too.
Dd today, we went for a walk in the forest and had lunch in the cafe. Had planned a salad but nothing looked very appetising so had a packet of pop chips for 95 cals.
i was starving when I got home so I had a warburtons thin with pastrami 140 cals before going to the gym.
For tea a had a big buffalo tomato baked with anchovies on top. Tasted nice but the little bones are too annoying for me to have this on a regular basis! About 100 cals, so got a few calories left for a little snack before bed. Going swimming in the morning before work which always make me hungry so looking forward to ud tomorrow.

First weigh in today, not done as well as I had expected lost 1lb. One teeny tiny little pound. Trying not to be too disappointed as I weighed on a body fat scale and I lost 1.4kg of fat so I guess I must have gained a little lean muscle too. Still believing in juddd though, lets see what next week brings.

Hi here to subscribe - I'm just getting back into fasting as well so hopefully we can cheer each other on. I tend to just do 2 fast days a week though - try and fit an extra one in if I can but it rarely happens ha! Good luck with yr journey and 1lb is still a loss - got to start somewhere:) x

I am drawing a line under it and not letting it turn into a wasted week the way i once would have. Straight back to it today.crackers and laughing cow cheese for lunch and soup for tea. All pre packaged so i know the calories are coming in at exactly 504. Not one other morsel will pass my lips today ha!!
