Hi everyone,

Found out about Juddd a few days ago and have started today. Ordered the book so I can read up properly on it and ordered some of the supplements too.

So today's DD has ended with me having 600 cals. Hope this wont affect it too much but thought its not bad for a first DD attempt!

Hi I am just starting today too. read the book ages ago but really didn't think I could survive a DD but my neice started a week ago and has not found it too difficult and loves her UP days and is losing weight too :)

Haven't got a lot to lose and have been doing SW but just wanted to try this as love the concept and the health benefits.

Look forward to finding out how others newbies are doing feel like i will be drinking a lot today :)

Hi Derbynanny, welcome to JUDDD. I'm sure you'll love it. I was also doing SW, but didn't lose very well, as bizarely I got told I wasn't eating enough! I lost 5lbs on my first week of JUDDD and am hooked for life. Good luck. Everyone on here is really friendly and supportive. :)

Diet? What diet lol! Love it, on day 5 today which is a DD but been having dizzy spells so just got a bag of crisps from the vending machine at work, not much choice so 202 cals wasted!

Other than that its all good, feeling slimmer already if that's even possible this soon lol!x x

:D :D :D :D so chuffed for you!

Oops re the crisps; and they'll probly leave u hungrier! Double-Bah! U need to stash some meal bars in ur bag or similar so if need arises again, at least the 200kcal will be justified! I also find the cadbury highlights hot chocs good for that kind of thing! Or cuppasoups maybe!

Well done tho - repeating myself i know, but soooo chuffed JUDDD seems to be good for u!

Sorry you got dizzy, however this can happen a lot when you first start especially if you are not eating at all during the day. Little tip....don't rush to the vending machine for junk, have any hot drink with a little milk in it. The sugar in the milk will raise your blood sugar enough to stop the dizziness. If it happens again on a DD avoid eating anything sweet or verycarb based to stop getting insulin spikes, try and choose proteins or slow release carbs such as oatmeal1

This is good advice. I know from experience that eating a bar of choc on a sugar down actually makes it 10 x worse, cause you just go sky high and fall down again in an hour or so x

Thanks everyone for the advice, it's so hard to know what to do when there's little options available to u!

I had two cups of tea with sweetener in before I finally succumbed to the crisps as it just wasn't shifting x x
