Morning all, well after 3 weeks off plan due to a Birthday weekend turning into a Birthday week and then Belle going overdue which I found very stressful , she ended up with a stuck pup and a c section on Sunday afternoon, she had 2 beautiful pups and is doing really well so now I have no excuses back here to keep an eye on all of you and lose some weight before Christmas !!!
So I have found it hard to get back on track because I wasn't sleeping as I was with the Dog 27/7 10 days before she actually had them, we were living off takeaways and convenience food , I was soo tired I couldn't think of anything else ! Anyway I have no idea how much I have gained as I havent weighed, which brings me to my first insight.
If I don't need the scales to tell me I have gained (my clothes have done that) then I don't need the scales to tell me I have lost weight !!!
Juddd def helps my joints, my knees /hips have been playing up, that could be the extra weight BUT my wrists are non weight bearing and I couldn't use the tin opener yesterday as it was too painful, havent had that in months ?
I feel better when I have control, I have actually missed my DD and that feeling of achievement.
My plan now is to stay off the scales until my last dec weigh in before Christmas !!! I will know if I have lost weight and how much isn't an issue just how I feel and look. I don't think I have gained a huge amount I just don't feel comfy in my jeans and long sleeved fitted t shirts anymore which is my staple wardrobe lol, I am only going to weigh in before Christmas as It will be interesting to see how I have done in the challenge.
I had an UP yesterday as it was Bonfire night so 2 DD now an Up and a final DD before Weekend off then probably 2 doubles next week and see what I feel like then on a week to week basis . Its good to be back on track :)

ETA I won't change my stats now till dec weigh in as I don't know what they are at the mo lol

It's like reading my own explanation of my past few weeks (without the pups! )

I can't say I'm going to stay off the scales as I need them to keep me going. When I don't weigh it's cos I'm not intending to try and eat well

14 lost : 53 to goal

Glad I am not the only one lol, I may revise that about weighing, sometimes the pull is far too strong, but I am going to try and be ruled by how I look cos I def look like I have gained, struggled a bit today but its nearly over and I think when I get 1 under my belt I will be ok, fingers crossed anyway, hope you have had a good day xx

Glad to see you're back with us, Jo! I had a week off a couple of weeks ago and am still working to get back down to my lowest recorded ADF weight - so know just how you feel!

Glad your Dog & Pups are Ok and that you are back & on track!!
The scales really are like the 'Devils Advocate', we love them when they tell us what we want to hear & hate them when they don't. if they show a loss they are spot on, a gain and we must need a new set LOL. You are so right that its our health & how we feel that really matter. I was really interested about your joints aching more when 'off plan'. My rusty old joints have been so much better since I started JUDDD, its worth being on it just for those benefits alone!! Anyway good luck with your plan..we can do it!!!!
