Help with My Plan

Maka

A New Woman
I really want to give JUDDD a genuine go - not the half-hearted "stop and start" cycle that I've been on for almost a year. I'd like to start next week and think I got my head around a plan that might work for me long-term. Please take a look at my plan. I welcome all comments and suggestions.

Looks good to me Maka! I've not tried that method of fasting as such were you have a sleep in the middle of your fast, although I did sort of do it when working night shifts (as I fast midnight-midnight) and that was great!

Good luck and do let us know how you get on X

Thanks Clareel. Lol....I am hoping the sleep in the middle will make it easier ;-) Hope it won't slow down my losses.

I don't think it would slow down your losses Maka, I think it might actually be better than the midnight-midnight fasts I keep meaning to try it out properly myself! Anyway, you'll only know by trying so might as well give it a go!

Well done on your loss so far! I did S&S before this and was amazed at how well it works! Love the UP days now though :)

X

Just an update: I finally made a proper start on 23rd June, so first measure/weigh-in's the day after tomorrow.
Also, instead of 3pm-3pm, I've ended up more like 6pm-6pm which seems to be working fine for now except the danger of going over on UP days cos the awake eating period seems longer(dinner, breakfast, lunch plus potentially another dinner).
On an UP 3pm-3pm, I'd only get dinner, brekkie and lunch.
Hey, it's probably the same but just feels different.
Sadly, I haven't fitted in any exercise this week :-(

I fast 9pm ish when I finally get my dinner until 9pm the following day. Interesting 3-3 I might try something different

Wow!!! 9pm-9pm? I'd find that a really long day. It's the sleep period that's helping me and then I am at work until 2pm on most days so I am fine with not eating. It's that 3pm -9pm stretch when I need to eat/ am most likely yo cave in so 3-3 or 6-6 seems to work for me.
How long have you been JUDDDing?

Hey Maka

Don't worry about doing any exercise in your first week. I did do any at all until last week. Looking forward to hearing how you get on tomorrow.

Good luck

7.8lbs off in Week 1 :happy036:
I was running late for work this morning, so I'll add my measurements when I get back home cos there's a definite loss in that department too. And I'm eating rockslide brownies!!! What a fab diet...way of life!

I've been 5.2 for a couple of months or so now and yes that last 6-9 pm bit is really tough but I have 3 kids so its a busy time of the day - i struggle to eat earlier - like you I can stay busy at work.

Well done Maka!!! That is an incredible first weeks loss. Well done!

My losses are considerably slower than yours. I've STS this week but have lost 8lbs in 8 weeks so i'm losing the average at the moment.

Have you been tracking how much you eat on your UD's or are you not bothering?

I think it's beginner's luck cos I am a notoriously slow loser. Watch this space next week ;)
I didn't track my UDs properly but two of them were fruit, coffee and water with steak or sausages or chicken. I ended up in the loo, paying for the excess roughage, but it probably helped to get rid of the junk.
I am completely fasting on DDs but also thinking that I need to have these "fruit/vege cleanse" days at least once a week on UDs.

Week 2 done and dusted. I lost 0.2lbs and everything's stayed the same except for another 3cm off my waist (hourglass taking shape!).

I'm really trying not to be bothered with the scales. So as long as I don't gain, I'm cool with that - it's my size and appearance that I'm really focused on.

I managed 3 visits to the gym - 45mins cardio and then weights. I'm going for 4lb weights on the arms(just barely managing three sets) and 5lbs on the legs (with many reps/sets).

This week, I need to get the eating balance right. It's blistering hot out here so my appetites's plummeted. DDs have been a breeze , but I'm not getting enough on the UP days and I've ended up badly constipated.

Also, I don't seem to drink enough water. I'm having tea/coffee/coke zero but hardly any water. Strange really, since I've always loved water.

So let's see if more water, hitting 1700 on UP days and exercise will trim me up.....and shed some more pounds ;)
