I think ive started today lol!! I used the quarter of my maintenance Cals to work out what i should be on and it worked out at 550 on a dd. today ive had quite a lot and don't feel hungry so on my next fast i will drop to the 500 everyone else seems to be on!! Is it ok to snack all day like i have or am i best to eat one meal??

Thought I'd wake up starving today but im actually no hungry!!!might just eat later, goin out with friend later for lunch so Cals will prob b higher than a normal lunch anyway xx
 
Just to say "good luck" Shazza. It seems pretty quiet on here. I've gone on complete fasting on my DD except for coffee with skimmed milk, water and the odd coke zero.
About snacking, I have heard that grazing through the day keeps your metabolism going.
But I'd overeat if I did that. So I tend to stick to meal-times (kind of...)
 
Thanks for ur reply ? im on another dd today, i think the grazing all day helps me through, i dnt think it will be a problem as after my fast on the wed the scales had dropped 3ibs altho I'd ate carrots etc all day! So same again today carrots, fruit, boiled eggs and homemade soup ?
 
3lbs is great. Good on ya! Looks like grazing is working for you.
My biggest challenge is keeping the UP days healthy - am toying with mostly fruit/veg/nuts/beans/eggs OR doing low-carb...cos I love meat;)
 
Second fast today and actually been quite hyper its scary haha!! Oh well wi is 2mo, i always wi a sat at my Sw class and ive done 2 dd this week now b interesting to see what scales say hope they have moved even more!!x

I need to look at my up days too - it's easy to slip into unhealthy habits rather than healthy with the occasional treat. In definitely eating too much sugar and carbs
 
How did your weigh in go? I find grazing impossible but thats just me, I find it easier to eat nothing than to eat a little.
 
I lost 3 pounds in my first week! Just finished my 1st fast of this week n i feel kinda sick after eating apple for my supper never felt this way last couple dd i had?? Well il go to sleep n hopefully it will be gone in mornin!!
