Short term challenge - 19th September

2012willdoit

2016 Fitness/Fatness Status Changes
Firstly may I apologise? I have set myself a birthday goal to try and pick myself up and start losing a bit more and adding in exercise now I have the all clear from my knees, oh, and my GP :)

I could really do with some accountability and support so I thought I'd go public and try and inflict my own needs on you :D

I missed my wedding anniversary goal by 3lbs so I want to reach halfway on my weight loss journey and to have a very light exercise programme in place - I need a gradual re-entry or I will kick in my CFS and fail  So that is 7lbs in 6 weeks and 3 power walking sessions per week, 18 in all. I appreciate I may have been a little bit optimistic, but these are goals, not a royal command :p

2012willdoit: 39lbs in total (32 lost: 7 to go); 18 walking sessions (0 completed, 18 to go)

Oh! I'll just have to go it alone then :)

I hope you are all having lovely holidays.... and not sweating the diet :D

Hiya good luck with your goal I'm sure you will certainly achieve it! Being optimistic is a good thing you need to think positively when doing any sure of diet! I'm there with you, with needing support! I tried JUDDD a couple if tears ago and this forum was really busy back then but these days there doesn't seen to be many juddders at all! I'm aiming to lose 5 stone by February so doing JUDDD for 6 weeks then a slim and save seen as I have such alot to lose and only have birth 6 weeks ago so I don't want to do any diet to strict and risk post natal depression it anything! Anyway enough rambling on! Hope your Sunday is going well! :D

I'm happy to join you in your challenge! Will have to think about what I want to weigh... Realistically that is....6 weeks, I'll go for half a stone too. Can I put my start weight down on fri as I'm on a bootcamp at the moment, so not juddding till Friday.

What sort of plan are you following? I'm not strictly doing Juddd, as I'm only having 2 down days a week.

I'm currently doing 5:2 but I'm Switching onto alternate days soon, but at the moment 2 fasting days is enough for me to do with sleep deprivation due to night feeding etc! There loads of different ways of doing the plan, there are some that fast for 16 hours a day abc have an 8 hour window so they are eating everyday day! You can play about with the plan and see what works but for you!!

Ooh!

Zoe, I'm sort of 5:2 ing also, but may go back to Mon, Weds, Fri after the 6 weeks and the exercise is in properly. As slinkyson says, IFing has lots of ways, just choose which suits you best and add whatever you decide.

Good luck :)

1lb down 6 to go for this challenge.

All fired up for this one now.

I go back to work tomorrow, a DD. So I'll get up early and go for a walk first, aiming for 12 minute mile power walk.

We shall see.

I am with you on your challenge, I would love to get back to my pre holiday weight by end of Aug and lose another 14lbs by mid October, its a big challenge, but like you I need the accountability of saying I am doing something publicly! GO US!!

Lanarkwitch is GO!

Accountability follows :D

Hi all
After a couple of months falling heavily off the wagon i am back and would love to be part of this challenge! Hate the way i look at the moment :sigh:
I'm going for 1 stone between now and 19 Sept by doing alternate days so 4:3 or 3:4 depending.
Good luck all :D

Hello. I have no idea how i missed this post? Let's see.... I'd like to lose 2lbs a week so by that week in sept (my weigh in would be on the 21st rather than the 19th) i would have lost 8lbs. That seems achievable! And the another 8 by the 19th Oct.
