Hi I've been nosing around on here , just put details into the Judd website and it says
Dd 384 cals
Ud 1884 cals

And this is too alternate every other day !

Confusing I have 1 stone 12lbs to loose . Or 1 stone 3 lbs I would be happy .

I'm 43 5.2 and start a new job tomorrow , but thinking of doing this plan today and run up to Christmas ( Christmas sat exempt)

Anyway what are everyone one else's calories like as I noticed one inspiring lady 1000/500 calories .

Also on Judd website says alternate days - yet sone of you guys do the 5/2 or 3/4 again very confused .

One more thing on my dd lunch ideas- that don't make me look to strange to new work people ( on those days I would prob cut breakfast do can have a normal ish packed lunch .

Many thanks in advance

Hi, if you read round you'll find we all do it really differently.

I think we all start off following someone's rules and then we fudge it round a bit to suit ourselves.

To start off with I would recommend you do 2 Down Days a week, non consecutive weekdays. The other 5 eat as normal (just keep a weather eye on the kcals), enjoy weekend meals with family and never, ever turn down an invitation because it is your Down Day. Go, eat, drink, be merry and pick up again on your next scheduled Down Day.

The most important thing is not to feel guilty if you mess it up a bit. And there are no foods restricted, nothing to avoid, nothing to stock up on, NO RULES, just eat your calories.

Your next task is to decided when to eat your Down Day calories. 3 small meals, 2 or just one? Well, try any and all variations until you find the one that suits you best.

I started with lunch only - if I eat breakfast I get ravenous. If ate at home the OH was too helpful :)

Then I couldn't do lunch without eating tea, so I switched my meal to early evenings.

But you will find all sorts of methods, some really complicated some, like mine, really simple. The joy if this is it can be modified to suit you and your life, rather than you squeezing into its routine.

Good luck xx
