First weeks weight loss....

Stood on the scales this morning and I've lost......EIGHT pounds!!!
Am over the moon!!
Finally feel like Ive found an eating plan that I can stick with long term too, haven't found this week to bad apart from second DD which I struggled a little but got through it. Really chuffed!

Wow, that is fab. I didn't even have a loss like that first week of a vlcd! Well done :)

Thanks so much for the replies!! Well as to how I did it I dunno!! I started last Monday on a DD and finished on Sunday on a DD (doing alternate at the moment) so maybe thats why, on DD Ive been having 425 cals and eating mainly protein as I find that fills me up for longer than fruit or veg (thin sliced ham you get LOADS of for 200 cals). Ive been eating my cals in one go usually of a morning. Then on up days Ive literally eaten whatever Ive fancied, Sunday we went to the seaside and I had fish and chips and ice cream, we ve also had chinese take away this week. The only other thing Ive done different is drink more water (which I never used to drink, diet coke was always my thing) and Ive also started taking mutivitamins with a probiotic, omega 3 fish oils and vitamin D but I don't think they ve made a difference.

It ll be interesting to see how my weight goes this week maybe I won't lose anything or only a small amount as my body catches up!
 
Thats interesting wonder if you loose quicker having alternate days instead of two up at the weekend???

Hiya, hope you don't mind me asking...do you do much exercise on UDs? Well done, again :)
 
I do a lot on my up days thb. Cycling anything from 10-40 miles, or a little work out app including weights and crunched etc or working in our wood moving logs, building, chainsaw work.

I firmly believe in exercise, good for us in so many ways and it does help with weight loss, however... In my experience it was changing what I eat that brought the loss!
