Blinkin stayed the same again!!! Tbh I don't know what I'm doing wrong :-( I can only think that it's just not working for me :-(

I'm giving it one more week until I'm back at work and then will have to have a serious rethink :-(

Awwww I feel for you, is that two weeks in a row?

I've had a gain this wk which is hard as I think of how hard the dds were! But I think I enjoyed my Uds a bit too much.

Do you track at all on your Uds?

Yes two weeks in a row! I've tracked my UDs this week and stuck to around 2000 cals, my DDs have all been under 500 cals.

The only thing I can think of is that last weekend turned into 3 UDs (and they were big UDs as I was away!) so maybe I've just givens body too much to do by today?

That's why I'm giving it 1 more week to see :)

I'm trying it for one more week and then I'm back at work so if I haven't lost any Ill have a rethink then! Xx
 
Just a thought, but why don't you stop counting your up days? Maybe 2000 isn't enough to get the metabolic swing going? Id really enjoy your up days if I were you because counting them seems to be the change?
 
I have to agree with JuJu, whenever I have a sts I think right I have to track and limit my UP days, I fail miserably but then lose, this may sound bizarre but I lose more weight the more I eat, that could of course be me ? Also if you had 2 DD and 5 Up days? then a STS is pretty damn good hun x That would actually be my maintenence plan, that extra DD would have made all the difference x

I know youre right - on any other diet with what I ate at the weekend I would have gained big time! So I guess a sts is not soooo bad looked at in those terms :)

I'm gonna carry on this week - wont be counting today or Monday (my UDs) but will do proper ADs - if I give it my complete trust this week and see what happens then :)

im doing the same doing proper alternate days now after this weekend!!! HOping for a wooosh too xx
 
This thread and Dr Johnson's diet have been around a lot longer than Michael Mosley's programme. And the thread was started for followers of the Dr Johnson diet - not the Horizon programme - hence the name. I think it would be wrong to change it.

Maybe there needs to be an Intermittent Fasting thread as that would cover the many versions of fasting like Michael Mosley's research, Brad Pilon's 'Eat Stop Eat', Ori Hofmeckler's 'The Warrior Diet'. Jen Jolan's 'The one day diet', Leangains etc etc.

And Dr Johnson doesn't sell diet pills. Resveratrol can be purchased in most health food stores and he sells it as a health aid- not a weight loss product.
 
Dr Johnson also tells you what foods reservatrol is in so you don't have to buy the pills if you read his book. I am doing the Johnsin diet and have been since before the horizon programme.
